I really LOVE Snowbound, the remix of the Winter's theme for Earthbound. That is one of the best OCR's ever. Hail DJ Pretzel!I really like Bubbleman remixes. Just about every Mega Man OCR I have heard is quite awesome.So I recently got the soundtrack to Mega Man X: Command Mission. I like it alot.

As for me, most of the mixes I listen to are from games I've played (there are a few exceptions, of course). I'm too lazy to actively go out looking for music so I'd rather just let it all come to me (and I don't listen to the radio, so that pretty much limits me to movies, games, and TV shows). Then if I like what I hear, I look for that song and maybe others that sound similar. Very limiting, I know, but I don't really listen to music very often anyway.

It could be like in Marvel vs Capcom, where he calls Eddie (the little red helper robot) to hand him one of three power ups (Rock Ball, Leaf Shield, and Tornado Hold).

I never played the first metal gear. I was under the assumption it was more of a bionic commando like game rather than stealth action.nope, there's stealth in that one too.
FF10 First implementation of console RPG voiced characters.Grandia 2, which came out one year before FFX, also had voice acting (not saying Grandia 2 was the first, just saying FFX wasn't).
EDIT: also a few PS1 RPGs had voice acting (Rhapsody comes to mind).
Halo: Proof an FPS can actually work on a console.Goldeneye 64 did that one console generation earlier

Where have you been? The Shop charges 6.25% sales tax. So when I buy 1000 Wii Points it cost me $10.63.
Guess it varies by state. I live in California and don't pay any taxes in the shop channel, whereas a trip to the store would cost me an extra 8.25%

You can also buy a 2000 point card from any retailer for $20. I prefer buying directly from the shop channel though, since that doesn't charge any sales tax
