I'll probably go for the Chapion Battle (gold/silver). I'll decide soon
-
I might be of some help. I'm currently also working on the Boss Project, but I still have some time on my hands. Don't know which tracks are left though, but if you need some help, I'm here. nd don't worry, I won't be as lazy as the rest . I'll PM a song of me if you're interested.

You can never have enough dutch people working on a project, right? EDIT: Uploaded the REAL 2nd WIP. And I'm happy with it this time
-
Never heard from him since I was on this project. But the project's not too old yet, so give him some more time, I say. After all, we're only human
-
The same goes for me, I'd love to remix some DKC2 songs

Ehh... isn't that a little early? I mean, we haven't even had our first WIP deadline. We're still trying things out. Perhaps later on it would be a nice idea (not sure if it boosts the image of the project though), but too early to post mine anyway. Besides, it's not really a invitation to post new WIPs at our forum if we know we have to post them at OCR's WIP forum aswell I thought our WIP deadline was 19th November. You know, like how It says [WIPs by 11/19] in big letters in the title of this thread. I know that, I'm not, contrary to popular belief, blind. All I was trying saying is that we're not PAST the dealine yet. And when the time comes, I'll probably post my WIP there too. But it has to be in a further state than it is now. Speaking of the WIP, I posted a new version at the forum

That's true, but then when "B" is finally finished, he also lets his own mix being judged by the panel. That delay will delay the whole project since the rest is already done. If it then turns out his mix is beneath the needed quality there's even more delay. That IS a problem that needs to be considered. I'm willing to wait if it boosts the quality. But we should definently think about it. And perhaps you could PM Darkesword if it's even possible to let all of the mixes being judged. Kyle has a point if he says the flooding may be too much for the judges. EDIT: Well at least you got the will to mix . Well I don't know much about Magix, I know Fruity Loops is used very much, but it is a bittle simple (easy to learn, but you'll be able to tell it's a FL mix) and Reason has way more possibilities. I just think you need to read a 1,325,634 page tutorial to fully understand it. I only work my my electronic piano to mix, so hopefully someone can explain things to you. And I didn't see the techno/rave thing was about the final megamix, hence the question. Sorry for the stupid question
-
I'm afraid I'll have to disappoint you. Learning how to make good mixes isn't a matter of weeks (or months). We could teach you how to mix, of course, but I don't think you'll be up to OCR quality when we're about to end this project (I realise that's still a year - or more - away). That and the fact that Magix Music Maker isn't exactly mixing program #1. But I must admit I gave up that program real quick. On the note of the judges delay being an advantage because other mixers would have time to finish their songs... the other mixers also have to let the panel judge their mixes. And what exactly did you mean by it all being techno?
-
You have to get either 4x YES or 3x NO. If it's real close (3x NO, 3x YES or something like that) they'll wait for more judges to give their opinions.
-
*sigh*... the Summoning of Spirits project mixers are sending their tracks to the judges to be well... judged of course. I know that they're not doing it as a whole project (but most of the songs are being judged first). That's why the idea was to make that a rule at this project. Every single mix being judged by the panel first beofre they're accepted into the project. I, for one, think it's a good idea. It would surely boost the quality of the project. Don't know what you guys think, though... EDIT: The Live instruments... you seem to see piano and keyboard as one. They do in fact have a slightly different way of playing... Plus it's not a keyboard I have. But I'm just complaining about the smallest thing I could find I guess EDIT2: FLAC files provide way better quality than mp3, but it's also a lot larger. Hence the coiche you offer: Small files with lower quality, or bigger files with higher quality

I can play drums live if need be. And as for the sig thing, It sounds sweet. My sig should have both Starwolf and Andross in it somewhere, though. I have decided to use sprinklings of the Starwolf theme in places, but keep the Andross theme as the main theme. It will probably start with a little bit of starwolf, then go into a breakdown section, then play the andross stuff, then have a bit more Starwolf in the bridge and at the end. Seriously, Its going to rule. Ooooh... drums. That may come in pretty handy. Are you good at orchestral/march kinda stuff? Perhaps I'll call you in for some help somehwere along the line. And of course it's going to rule... this whole project is!

Posted a first WIP at the forums. CHeck it out and tell me what you think
-
I play the piano if anyone's interested
-
Alright, now I'll just hope nobody picks it up then .

Alright, I'll take the M. Bison theme then! If I got time to spare, I'd like to take a shot at Sigma as well or maybe a collab... But first: The Bison theme. And congrats on reaching the Gen forum

PS4 orchestral project discussion (on hold for awhile)
Pavos replied to Claado Shou's topic in ReMix Requests
I don't know about the title... it looks a little too much like CS. The Chrono Cross title was great, but it was like a sequel to CS. Not that I have an alternative however, but still... -
Are you still looking/open for new remixers? If so, I'd like to participate in this project. It'll probably be Sigma or M. Bison. If not, never mind I asked

Super Mario World - Regular Level Theme --> FINAL VERSION
Pavos replied to Pavos's topic in Post Your Game ReMixes!
So, probably the final version of my song. Not very much fans anymore though . Anyway, everything's finished, I'll just polish everything up from here. Unless anybody has got another idea for the WIP that needs to be fixed. Here's the 3rd and final version: Plain Donut Jazz Enjoy! -

Super Mario World - Regular Level Theme --> FINAL VERSION
Pavos replied to Pavos's topic in Post Your Game ReMixes!
Thanks for the feedback guys! Although "humorous" wasn't exactly what I was hoping for Ah well, OCRemix is open for anything, so why not this? At least I hope so. Anyway, I worked some more on it - or rather extended it - and I've got a second version online: Plain Donut Jazz version 2 I've changed nothing to the first part, but I added some more (no real mystery where that come from). And please don't say anything about the ending, it's going to be changed, don't worry. Keep the feedback coming, guys! -
Now that's a first

Alright, so I was messing around a little bit and started a remix of the normal level theme from Super Mario World. I thought it didn't sound that bad, so... My question is: Should I finish this seriously and submit it at OCRemix or should I quit it and stop messing around? Here it is: http://members.home.nl/emmyvankampen/Mario%20JazzWorld.mp3 Second version (only made it longer): http://members.home.nl/emmyvankampen/Plain%20Donut%20Jazz.mp3 The FINAL version: http://members.home.nl/emmyvankampen/Plain%20Donut%20Jazz%20v3.mp3

PS4 orchestral project discussion (on hold for awhile)
Pavos replied to Claado Shou's topic in ReMix Requests
Definently CHORONO CROSS. Most themes are already in a sort of angelic style and it would be perfect for an orchestral remix project. The game may be a lot less popular than Chrono Trigger, but the soundtrack is great and the sotry - be it slightly confusing - aswell!
