  1. Yea you're right! hehe i guess it really doesnt matter, i still hate that tune. was way to repeatitive in the game.
  2. the only thing i use the main automation pattern for is keeping pace. so.. um.. yea i really dont use it. its probable i CAN use it to automate somethings like tempo/EQ/filter changes... but i dont. i use individual patterns for each automation so i keep things uniformed.
  3. it doesnt sound like one, if thats what you thought i was thinking
  4. I thought the drumloop was really good! I dont care much for the tune though. never did like the boss theme for contra.
  5. omg is that xenogears i hear? hehe. This remix is soo good.. but boy was i left hanging at the end
  6. If you have the money, this will simply solve your problems: http://www.sonicreality.com/sonicsynthmore.html i am very happy with it (also i got it cheaper when it was on sale listen to this demo that i really like: http://www.sonicreality.com/Chorus%20Strat.mp3
  7. hehe per my discussion with gol: gol (DidierDambrin) wrote : "listen, fruityloops plugins were designed for slides in the piano roll. VST plugins weren't, they were designed to support MIDI pitch bend. You want slides for your MIDI plugins? Fine, contact every single VST plugin maker, & ask them to port their plugins to fruityloops plugins. You don't seem to realize that if you were using another sequencer, you would draw pitch bend messages the same way." now learning how to draw on the pitch bend sequencer is a bit of a task for me, because the grid is too wide between levels and does not show you numbers. i'd like to see numbers so i can just plot mathematically instead of drawing events.
  8. I thought it was good up unto the organ came in. Is it me or is the organ out of tune?! ( ex. 1:38 ). Sorry to be upset, but Heart of Fire is my FAVORITE CV tune, its rarely remixed/covered, and this one doesnt do HoF justice.
  9. I love the soft part at 1:31. gave me goosebumps cuz it was so delicious. I aggree this IS a creative take on Vampire killa
  10. omg why am i reminded of the cab ride in Lesuire Suit Larry? hehe nice stuff
  11. this is called house. jeez.. This is yer early 90's late 80's house. Specifically this reminds me of Ce Ce Peniston's hits like "Finally". GOOD STUFF, PO! ++++++ FEELIN IT
  12. I agree, this one DOES sound russian Lots of skill here
  13. Honestly, at first i thought my speakers were getting old due to the distortion, but then i realized it was that lead. In spite of that, I actually do like this tune's arrangement. its fun, yet simple(which is good sometimes), and medival hehe.
  14. I liked this mix. I felt it sounded a bit mono though. That aside, I thought the guitar playing was great, great originality, and it suits this tune so well. I liked that part with the voice at 0:33 hehe i thought that was interesting
  15. Despite any comment about the way this "sounds", I give a lot of credit to originality, which this remix has. I really like it. Its like a Pepsi BLUE, while not that great, its a refreshing change which pleases my curiousity taste buds great job!
  16. This is a song. I'd like not to think of this as just a remix. This is very professional. Everything is so good. Btw, tell us about the instruments, Injury. Well, or just tell me, im curious about the sax.
  17. I listen to this masterpiece more than average. So much skill is involved. Amazing.
  18. I like it. it does sound like a good night tune. anyways, I liked the string patches, i dont know why peoplez is complaining. they sounded tight.
  19. I didnt like this one. The sounds are great, however, I didnt like the arrangement. Ok that fat synth that plays the chorus. That does not go with the beat. The BASS melody is too plain and lacks variety and ALSO does not go with the beat (its on the right timing, but the beat speaks to me different). The wrong drumloops were used in my opinion, I see what it should have sounded like. I dont feel its doing it.
  20. Hmm. for what its worth, it does belong on OCR. But I just didnt like it too much. I guess what makes me upset with this remix is the synths and loopness. The leads just seem too dry. I thought the drum samples were a bit dry too. Its arranged well for a techno remix, however I feel its not produced well enough. This is why I stay away from doing techno, its not as easy as it may sound to produce. What could have made this remix better would be re-engineering all the synths, make the fat, make the percussions wet, etc. Its still an 'ok' arrangement nonetheless, but 6min is too long with constant melody loopage.
  21. Ahhh... this remix is the sh*t. I never played the game, but im TOTALLY FEELING this hot track. Mad skillz yo.
  22. This remix DOES improve on the original.
  23. Ok i been trying to post on this topic.. something was wrong with connection. Anyway: Ok, High quality sounds, Great Arrangement, and Good/decent production value. And I also like the implemented game sounds/voices. I thought the piano chord was a bit repeatative, but it was ok for this type of mix. Could have used more variation in the mix, but ok. Good listen!
  24. This is a good remix for a tune that was long over due for one. I dont think this remix is the greatest, I would have appreciated some new influence to the track rather than re-arrangement. At 00:30, I thought it was going to go into a whole new vibe, but i was dissapointed at 00:50, and since then there wasnt much variety. Production wise, it sounds great. But its still just a little simple. Its a good remix, for a tune that deserves it, and it sounds crisp and nice. good job.
  25. yea i wanted to say I agree, this track doesnt have the highest quality production value, but is still yet a great job done with what the remixer had. I'd give a lot of credit to the wide variety of samples used which kept it interesting. Specifically, the ambient sounds is a plus. A good listen.
