I have the special edition on preorder too. That soundtrack makes it worth the extra 20 bucks imo. -
(By Howard Drossin nonetheless.)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-1T1ra_SqBY But you know. All new game music sounds the same, and all new games are boring.

Bayonetta, Remember Me, Batman Arkham City, Mass Effect, Afro Samurai, Rayman Legends, and so many other games out there have spectacular soundtracks. So no. Videogame music out has not lost its way.

Yet any time someone brings a new copy of a game to me, I ask them if they want the used copy, they tell me no, and then I sell them the new copy. Customer service is actually a huge deal for Gamestamp. I saw a guy that had spectacular numbers get fired on the spot for trying too hard to push the used merch. Customer service never takes a backseat to store policy.

They were 90 bucks when they first showed up. Also copies of Pokemon HG/SS are 52. Which is way higher than the original price of 40 bucks. No one seems to have noticed that.

Yeah Mario DDR was krunk.

They already did that.

Never going to happen. The closest we get is Metroid.

Found on Reddit. I can agree with most points, but (and this is going to sound ludicrous coming from me) they do need to do something that sets them apart. Just don't make it dumb. That's all.

Nintendo doesn't believe in Network play. They have said several times in the past that they want to encourage couch coop and stuff like that. Now I would love to see more couch coop games honestly, as the industry has been moving away from them, but the nature of the beast is that the internet makes it so much easier to play on a global stage than a local one. Nintendo isnt embracing it as they should be. They kind of did with Pokemon, but even that is years behind the rest of the world. For crap's sake they still dont believe in patching the game like they should. I really wish you did not have to download a seperate patch out of your game from the eshop when it should just do it automatically. Like on every other platform. Even the Ouya does patches automatically, and that thing is made of wafers and toast. There was a great article by an unnamed 3rd party dev that said that Nintendo's netcode wasnt even finished until about two weeks prior to launch. He or She complained that the WiiU was way behind even the most basic network functions of the others and that Nintendo wasn't allowing the devs to try and figure out ways around their stuff. Nintendo is big, but they are going to shrink more and more as this not so friendly behavior continues. I feel like they are going force themselves out of the market as time go on.
