Nah dude, I understand. None of these need to be submitted or anything. On the contrary, considering the timeframe, I'm sure if many, or any, would make it in. However, if you're willing to contribute to this, that's cool. What you do with the mix after you make it is your call, I won't submit it. I'll put you in the maybe's pile for now.

If I become a posted remixer within the next month I'll do it for ya guys, for sure.
If not, I'll do it for ya guys, if you let me .
I assume being an experienced project whore doesn't immediately qualify me, right?
Huh...didn't think about that...Let me consult with the powers that be tomorrow.

Made a new thread for interested OCReMixers for fundraiser volunteers.

As everyone should be aware...
APRIL IS SUPPORT OCR MONTH
and this year, there might be a little fundraiser activity incentive for those who donate a significant amount or more. This would involve remix requests from the donaters for any donation over a specific amount. Now, before we go through with this, I need to gather a list of people willing to volunteer for it. You must fulfill the following credentials:
* You must be a posted OCReMixer
* You must be willing to remix at least one song requested from donaters, regardless of what the song may be (depending on the amount of donaters to remixers, there might be some people doing more than one song, or might be some people not having to remix a song)
* You must be able to start the remix around May 1st and have it finished by June 1st (these are not going to necessarily need to pass OCR judges, they will not automatically be on the site as far as I know, but since you're already a posted mixer, quality should not be an immediate issue)
The reason you won't be able to start until around May 1st is that the fundraiser, if it happens, will only be applicable to qualifying donations within the month of April.
If you meet all the guidelines and want to volunteer to give your skills to the Support OCR month, please say so. I'll keep a list in the OP.
Volunteers:
Level 99
jmr
Cyril the Warf
Maybe's:
Rozovian
Abadoss
Cerrax
analoq
Definitely not...or maybe:
Snappleman

Sure, that actually sounds like a pretty solid idea, I think I'm feelin' it. Stevo, do you want to take point and see if you can collect a team of remixers who might volunteer for this? If we can get enough people signed up, we can more officially see about implementing it, I think. Let's just start with remixer willingness for now and go from there
I'll see what I can gather over the next few days. Check your PMs in a few minutes with some more details that I had in mind.

I don't think it would gambling if we did it PBS-style. For example, anyone with a donation of $50+ get a complimentary remix of their choice.
...and anyone with a donation of $350+ gets a complimentary Time Mage hat.
Sorry, old meme is old. I just wanted to use that smiley.
Yeah, this is what I was implying. It's not a "the top five donaters get remixes". It's a "if you donate more than x dollars, one of these remixers will make a remix for you. It might not be an official OCReMix, but it's a custom remix that you'll get as a way of saying thank you from OCR".
And yes, the whole point is that the artist is volunteering their services for free as a way of helping OCR. That's the point of it being a "fundraiser" as opposed to a "remixer auction".

I just got my OCR t-shirt, I'm wearing it right now actually. I am new to posting here, but I've lurked around here for many years and I love the site. I hope I can support you guys in the future, when I have more to spare.
Is there anyway we can pay to request a remix? I think that would be pretty awesome.
Hey BGC, would this still count as gambling? Might be a cool fundraiser idea. See which remixers would be down to loan their talents to the people who donate to OCR.

Man you be sooooo immature... Sooooo immature. That crap would fly on April 1st but come on. You're the director anyway, if people aren't turning in a WIP, kick them off, open the track, move on. I don't know why your panties are in a bunch though so I can't comment on that, but I'm sure you have a perfectly logical reasoning for it. x_x
He's referring to circumstances of bad luck and misfortune beyond control. He's allowed to have his "panties in a bunch" today.
It's raining here .Come here, under my ubarella-ella-ella-ey-ey-ey-ey.

Of all the things I could update with, the following expresses how a few project members, including myself, feel about something:
:banghead::banghead:
That said, I did get a wip today.
edit: also, throwing a fit. see first post.
I need a hug. Or more wips.
Yeah, pretty much this. But...it could be worse.
It could be raining...
Edit: Thank you, Google Translate Detect Language, for translating elände for me.

It would be kind of nice if OCAD could do a shoutout to any donators who name themselves. Make them feel a little more special...or dirty.
We'll read two lists:
One of the names of the peoples that what donated stuffs.
One of us making fun of the names of the peoples that what donated stuffs.
Sound good? Forward me the list when the month is over.
-
Hooray for general awesomeness! Who is involved with this? No artist listing. And I assume it's full up, not accepting new artists.
Yes, the project is full and this is the final listing. The artists will...be a surprise.
What are the new project rules? This project has been in the making for a while.

nice work

This thread has basically become Brushfire's response extension from IRC. Ugh.

Omg, you're totally right; we were soooo serious! We never had fun on our show. Ever. And who needs content?
Jill, I said this earlier, but whited it out for the joke:
Just to clarify:
We in no way have ill feelings toward VGDJ, or its hosts. This was our April Fool's joke, and basically an excuse for us to have an epic audio battle over OCAD's control. We'd welcome VGDJ to come back if and whenever it wanted to, since together we represent two sides of OCReMix: the professional side and the "after dark" side. Hope you all had some good A1 steak sauce. Love you, Jill and Andy!
Professional doesn't mean strictly serious either. Mad respect.

My hotel suggestion is the Flamingo.
[..all that crap you wrote...]
I'm sold. That's what, about 40-ish a night, and then split that between however many people we got? Plus that place looks STUNNING.
Arcana: I'm down.
Edit: looks like 55 a night from the dates I put in. Not bad...it's more than 5-10 more but still acceptable.

I think OA is trying to tell you guys something.
That we did nice work? I honestly can't tell because he's being so vague about it. And YOU'RE being vague about his vagueness. It's more foggy in here than Silent Hill!
And come on, LAoS...you know you wanna

I had a small trust fund set up for extreme harassment of people that stole OCRemixes, but I since used it to buy TVs and DS games.
I suppose I could put something aside for the future.
I'll add to that fund. Actually, scratch that. After working with you on Pokemon, playing L4D2 where I died a lot, and tolerating your terrible mic for OCAD, I'd say we have mutual interest in this thing. Spend your money on some poutine and get energy to scheme.
Arek, I just spent the last good hour of my life reading this whole thread to get the damn OCRAPS reference. And I'm alllllll for it. That goes for everyone else, too.
*takes out the banjo and plays a little dittie*

Alright, folks. It's getting to the time where we should start booking the hotels and flights and whatnot.
I'll probably be flying out Saturday, getting to Las Vegas a bit after five (if I book the flight I'm looking at). I'd like to ask bLiNd and Jade if I can stay with them for that Saturday night (and if they'd pick me up from the airport ). I'll plan on staying at the hotel we choose from Sunday night through Wednesday night, and I'll fly back on Thursday. I'm not sure about roomshare but I know I'll be traveling solo this trip, so I'm open to the idea.
Are we settled on a hotel yet?

Also it looks like the RSS feed wasn't uploaded. I will fix that when I get home.
I did upload it.

Well, this was it, folks. Here it is:
Episode 20
I have no words anymore.
Just to clarify:
We in no way have ill feelings toward VGDJ, or its hosts. This was our April Fool's joke, and basically an excuse for us to have an epic audio battle over OCAD's control. Also happy birthday Arek!
