  1. I just got a 30 gig Zune last night and I'm loving it. Haven't had any problems with it so far, and the screen's great for videos (I watched the first half of Superbad on it earlier today). Of course, it costs 200 dollars so I guess that's out of your budget, but I think 4 gig ones cost 150, and if those are as high of quality as the 30 gig one then I can recommend it wholeheartedly.
  2. I'm pretty sure the great -RoG- wouldn't hide his identity on the OCR forums, at least with a name like SwordBreaker.
  3. I don't really see how it looks horrible. It's certainly not going to be a masterpiece, but to me, it seems like all the complaints mentioned in the thread thus far are things that are being done that way on purpose. Seriously, has anyone that's posted even watched Speed Racer before? It's one of the most ridiculous shows ever, and I think the direction they're going with it is a lot better than if they were to try and do something "serious". Now, if the complaint is that the movie's being made in the first place, that I can understand, especially after all this Garfield, Underdog, and Alvin and the Chipmunks re-imaginings. For what it's worth though, I think it's safe to say that Speed Racer will at least be better than that Fat Albert movie from a few years back, if only for John Goodman playing Pops.
  4. I walked an hour to and from Wal-Mart to get some Wii Points just for this game and now the Wii Shop Channel is going horribly slow. It's been trying to download the game for close to an hour now, and poor little Mario is just constantly running and running. And now I am a sad Boppler.
  5. Lame? LAME~!? When Pit was flying and that Kid Icarus music flared up, I got the goosie pimples something fierce. Maybe you, sir, are the lame one.
  6. Hammer Bro. is an assist trophy too, but from the first so-crazily-named-mode-that-I-forget-the-name-of-it-though-I-could-have-looked-it-up-in-the-time-it-took-me-to-write-this update there was a picture of I believe Fox being attacked by one. So I would say Andross isn't totally out yet.
  7. The one on the right is Ico, of that this Dopple Boppler is certain. The left one looks like Prince of Persia, but alas, I have no idea as to what the middle one is. Drats, my helpfulness was beaten by Illiterate. How ill of him.
  8. I like her sleeves. They're real big.
  9. Well, in Nintendo's defense, even though I didn't care too much for the game itself because of wicked crab handage, Metroid Prime Hunters had a pretty robust online interface going on. But yeah, the other WiFi enabled Nintendo games I've played haven't really had the best online. But lag or no, they'd definitely lose some sales if they were to exclude online play. Everyone I know aside from myself and a handful of real life friends are buying the game for the sole purpose of online play. And even if there is lag, I don't play the game for tournament stuff anyways; for me Smash Bros. is first and foremost an ode to Nintendo and a wetdream for Nintendo fans, then a party game, and then a serious tournament game. I know most of the people on these boards are hardcore gamers and whatnot, but Smash Bros. is a game that appeals to all kinds of gamers, including the ones that don't mind a pinch of lag in their online soup. So yeah, definitely beneficial to have some kind of online stuff in this, especially if Nintendo plans on not being bombed by some crazy fan if they decided to not include it.
  10. Hee ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya!
  11. Me and a friend made up a cavalcade of random names back about five or six years ago. We each took one, and I ended up with Dopple Boppler. I haven't had any trouble with someone stealing Dopple Boppler, but a few years back a friend of mine asked why I was such a meany poo on AIM, even though I had never talked to them online. Well, it turned out there's some random guy from Texas with the screen name Dopple Bopple, and whenever someone accidently IMs him trying to reach me he apparently threatens to kill them or something similar. One time I tried talking to him but all he really said was that he was going to kill my friends, then any pets I have, then forcibly insert his no-no stick into my mother. I've come to the conclusion that it's the Texan in him, not the Dopple.
  12. Mystical Ninja was by far my favorite Nintendo 64 soundtrack; definitely up there in my top favorite game soundtracks evar. I don't particularly remember Mario Party or Mario Golf having too great of music, but then again this seems like some random GameFAQs forum member's list, so I suppose this kind of thing is to be expected.
  13. When I saw your name in the credits of the first episode when it was put up however many days ago on Screwattack I got fairly excited/aroused, and I was actually going to come here and make a topic about it to congratulate you in regards to the awesomeness, but figured that coming from some random fan of your music that you've never spoken to it wouldn't mean much. Run-on sentences aside, now that the topic's been made, allow me to bestow upon you the aforementioned and well-deserved congratulations that I oh so selfishly kept from you earlier, Shael: hooray for Shael!
  14. I highly enjoyed, especially It Must Be Love. There's probably nothing in the world that could have woke me up this abruptly so early in the morning aside from maybe a kick to the genitals, but I prefer this kicking to my mind's genitals anyways.
