  1. In Pic 2, you can see Mahaboo's costume has a built in catheter so she never has to stop partying on Halloween at ALL. That's thinking ahead! I was a Reaper from inFamous. My GF made the costume. I'd post it, but i'm sure you could find it if you looked, i posted it 3 times already. i didn't see this thread first.
  2. I have issues with this too, although not with music. It just irks me when i've gotta fight to do the work, and someone skates in and "picks up" at the easiest moment, and then acts like they accomplished something. Then, people say that i'm the copycat when i point out who did what. It must be fun sliding through life on other's work, but i don't understand it. Guess that's why i'm a terrible manager of anything but me.
  3. Hmm... i'm seriously considering checking these out now... pity i was busy yesterday, lol. Guess i'll have to wait. Also, if all those songs were created in the same hour, i'd say that's gotta be some kind of record.
  4. I've always wanted to turn the music from the old NES game "Tiger Heli" into something, but it's terribly short, and pretty abrasive. I'd be surprised if either of the 2 songs in the game even had names.
  5. Depends on what car you want to use. That car up there isn't available in the demo version, i think, but the "Base Model" of it is. they're slower, more like real cars. I think what you're looking for is somewhere in the GTR range, like with the LeMans type of car. Like this one.
  6. The game's at http://www.liveforspeed.com (i think, i'll test the link), and you can get the demo version for free. The version you pay for, "S2", is a bit, but no more than other games. I reccommend it. You can do tons of racing (it's all you can do on the demo servers), but if you buy it you can experience cruising, which, is basically a 3d chatroom with cars, money, earnings, loss, and smartassery. (Just watch out, the admins can be bitchy in some places, lol.) The game starts out looking average, but you can find mods for it that change it into various environments, and you can adjust the game's effects a bit. It's more physics-heavy than graphical, but it's improving. the physics feel nice though, that's what keeps me coming back.
  7. They're just skins, but they're from a DD2 pack someone made. That shot was from a DD2 style race server, and that's my car on top of "Mikee"s car. The reason it's up there is that i'd gotten squeezed into a closing wall, rode up on it, and landed on his car. I spun around about 3 times, and landed backward, but i wasn't out. Didn't finish high, but it was hella fun.
  8. LOL!! I think i'm in the 1st pic, just about mid-shot. We should do this again using Live for Speed, a vastly better looking and more realistic game.
  9. Holy f_ck, it's The Coop! ...seriously, you're still a god to me, lol, and i STILL have those gfx you made for me so long ago. That game almost still exists, but it's had rather a lot of issues with hard disk failure. As for where i've been... mostly on a game called live For Speed, when i wasn't looking at Failblog.org or playing Little Big Planet. Also, i was in college, got an AAS in Computer Drafting and Design.
  10. I don't know, i haven't gone into the UserCP and changed it yet, i guess, lol. I just got back! gimme a break!
  11. I'm not sure i'll trust anything MS after XP... it'd better prove itself damned good and DRM free before i start using it. As far as i know, it wouldn't let me watch even DVDs on this monitor, because it's not up to spec. I'll keep XP, thanks.
  12. Look for "Scurvy" on MySpace.com. I have a copy of their CD <not sure if it's named>, and it's only about 10 minutes long, featureing 5 or 6 heavy metal songs about being a pirate. Yes, they cover the grog song. yes, it fucking rocks.
  13. I found my Turtlebop mix, and it's still intact. I haven't run across mae's mix, and i'm not sure i will. I do have "farmer mario" though. I also have the "Shitty Judge Faggot" mix someone made with "Jim Holland" vs Liontamer on the radio.
  14. Never played RKA or sparkster, but i managed to nab the Sparkster sprite sheet once way back. Just ran across it recently. If i remember correctly, it's pretty complete, but i'm not sure what system it was for. Looks genesis, as it's not as smooth as an SNES game, but the SNES was capable of the same pallates.
  15. Haven't tried the linux thing... If i could play games on my ipod that were actually worth playing, i'd basically never stop!
  16. I'm willing to bet that considering this is Mae we're talking about, it's NOT, but she made more than one song that sounded so rediculous.
  17. Ah.... I suppose time compression took over there, lol. I thought i remembered judging it or at least listening to it a bunch... Maybe i judged it in my head later and that got "saved" as truth. Well, least it's been corrected by a known source. I suppose that means that Mae's track, if i can't find my own on these drives, will be the one IMC song that will never be recovered. Figures it'd be her, lol. That's so like you, Mae! As far as hosting... i haven't tried my old server program yet, but i'm willing to bet that it won't punch through the DSL router with any success. As i work these drives, i'll know more about this computer's final configuration. edit: interesting...
  18. You're right about some of that... DS was indeed in IMC 7 with that song, i remember it. I think Space Cowboy's IMC9 song was an entry. I also never got a chance to enter IMC10 as i didn't have a ton of time, when i could i ran into memory problems with Fruity Loops dropping channels, or giving me corrupted sound. (I ran into this problem with the MegaMan compo as well, i had a good mix going, too.) Prophecy's IMC 10 WIP "Dark Stand Evolution" was never an official entry, but it might as well have been, it seemed finished to me, and i liked it better than the final. IMC12's entries are good (Kyle Nin wasn't Kylejcrb, i checked), but Sadorf's Fake song wasn't a real entry. In fact, out of all the non-entry songs, i'd say Sadorf had the most. It took an act of God to get him to start naming his music, and i think he's still leaving off endings when he remixes (though i haven't heard anythig on OCR of his, so maybe not). His IMC6 song was still one of my favs though. My Quickie Contst entry wasn't saved in the same spot as usual for some reason, and i'm not sure it wasn't on a corrupted drive. It may not have been, but i'm thinking i'd have run across it by now otherwise. I still have 2 more hard drives to finish fixing, so it could be there as well. It may also be possible to replicate it with save files from Fruity Loops itself. As far as Mae's version... hmm. lol. You'll have to ask the Resident Chocobo herself about that one. Something tells me i never actually got that one, but it was also like 4 years ago, and i could've forgotten i DL'd it.
  19. Then i'd be extra special. ...did i say i'd do any, or am i missing a point?
  20. I get "where'd IMC go?" threads! I'm special.
  21. Where's runelancer? wasn't he here a while back? Seen moggie?
  22. If anyone wants to sort that, you're more than welcome to, however on my PC they're sorted into their respective folders. Winamp just doesn't show folder-by-folder view. They're arranged by path and filename, so they should be grouped correctly, even if it still puts "10" after "1". It seems i missed a few in the little contests. It's possible i never got them because i wasn't a judge for some of them. Enjoy, and worship me at the church of your choice. [edit] jesus that's huge, lol. [/edit]
