Snes music (and stuff before it) is like the bread and butter of the remixer's meal. Excuse my subpar metaphor, but that being said,I agree with you Ramaniscence, because it's not as near as complex as modern video game music. And to quote Usa: "Video game music is, more often than not, like movie or cinematic music than actual game music nowadays." (something around those lines) And I agree with him. The point is...modern game music is a lot harder to emulate and remix; as well as it is a lot less enjoyable (for it seems to me that modern game music is pretty damned generic) - though God of War's music is pretty sweet, despite its cinematic-ness
