Alright so Boss Bossanova and Run, Rambi! Run! are open to auditions now! Send a WIP that we like for one of these two and the track is yours - it can be short, or long, depending on how well it showcases everything we are looking for in terms of quality.

So we have 6 final wavs so far - good work people, all but 2 people have gotten in touch with us about their status. For those looking to do more tracks, we may have 2 opening up tonight at midnight EST.

Ok so apparently the Gina3G's PCI card does not fit into my Mac Pro - any other suggestions of audio interfaces that'd work great for me? It has to support PCI Express 1.1 at the very least.

So tomorrow I will look into some things. Some people like zircon complained of lag, although I never got any of it - everything ran as smooth as butter on this comp, although TF2 has a habit of crashing due to me being on Vista 64-bit. Also there was a bit of wtf when pl_dustbowl_b4 won the map vote, but it got switched to cp_well...I think I know what happened, so I will look into that tomorrow too. I will add Rainwave to the radio list tomorrow, as tonight I'm honestly pretty tired from my traveling back to Illini territory. Does anyone have map rotation suggestions or a custom map desired to play?

I used to like DragonForce because they were catchy (heard of them back in 2004-2005), but they are pretty repetitive in their songwriting and get stale fairly quickly - the running joke for several years has been that they only know how to write one song, and their stuff from their black metal days was pretty much the same thing except with growling instead of clean vocals. There are certainly much better bands out there in the power metal genre, who also maintain the uplifting sound & themes typical to the genre, as well as show a lot of variety & proficiency. I've mentioned plenty of other bands in other threads, and it doesn't take long to appreciate artists like Angra, Kamelot, Gamma Ray, Helloween, and Blind Guardian.

Just a warning ahead of time, I haven't heard from Danny B or ambient, so if we don't get anything by August 10th, those tracks will be open for auditioning as well.

Not that I know of - it keeps it in TF2 only if the link to the stream is not a playlist file and it's embedded in the webpage. That's why I labeled the links I added that used a playlist file "pls file". The ones that came with the plugin initially I left there, and those use an embedded player in a webpage so those are fine.

I can always check my email for the dates if someone requests it - I use gmail so it has that nice search feature.

Basically it's an honor system. Also, SourceMod Radio is now installed - the trigger is !radio or /radio in chat.
