Ok people, so around 9 pm EST, I'm going to restart the server and make the pw "ocremixtf2" so we can avoid the achievement whorers. It will be normal play.

So....crap. I wanted to make a server setting change (back to 50 minute rounds) but much to my dismay, the server has been full since 8 am, and has had people playing throughout the night.

Go to a random pub server where it seems like the players aren't that great and stay back and heal everyone.

While you're at it, slag on Atma's lack of capitalization too.

Again, it was by popular decision - before I had it setup so that the slots wouldn't be taken, but then it wouldn't kick people when someone with a reserved slot would join, so they all chose this method. Besides, I don't pay $36 per month for a charitable reason.

Yeah, it doesn't matter how many people are on - the two last slots are kept for reserved slot holders regardless. This is by popular decision here.

How it works is that there's a list of players with reserved slots kept on the server. So when the server has 22 people, and someone not on that list tries to join, they automatically get kicked. I think also if the server is full with 24 people and someone with a reserved slot tries to join, it kicks someone out who doesn't have a reserved slot, but don't quote me on that.

Damn, they finally made it easier for pyros to fight off soldiers . At least the achievements aren't obscene this time.

Also, I'm thinking about maybe one night of the week having the server passworded just for OCRers for those who want to play with just other OCRers, and without the hassle of trying to enter (and if you're so cheap that you don't want to donate). What do people think of that idea?

Ok so I FINALLY found an FTP client for Macs...but unfortunately the download time leaves something to be desired, even though it's 6.65 MB. Put up with 1 more day of 100% dustbowl and missing reserved slots people!

So yeah...5 days straight of a full server - donate to me if you want a reserved slot! Instructions are in the first post. I also could use some more donations at about this point since it is about time for me to pay the monthly payment again. I'll enter in dhsu and any others interested (can someone get in touch with 0ptik if he's interested in a slot too?) tomorrow for sure, as well as requisite server changes so that it isn't just dustbowl. I haven't decided what a good map rotation would be though, so throw some suggestions my way right now.
