  1. You'd think that every possible hard boss has been listed in this thread already.
  2. Hot, Tetris Attack remixes. I'd help, but I need more experience first...got a duet remix in the works .
  3. Why not use Aura & Rinoa for Omega Weapon? Rinoa has a limit break that makes everyone invincible.
  4. That's a shitload of tracks to have remixed...SD3's OST is pretty large. Good luck though, I love the original soundtrack to death and hope this does it justice!
  5. Well, I put myself forward before, and am still available for help if wanted.
  6. I'm up for creating bios and such that could be of interest (like the games they're from, particular notes about the characters, etc. - I think I should be able to do a good job with most of the RPG related characters, as well as the Nintendo ones; I can also do a good portion of the other ones too though, not just those).
  7. It's off topic, but I think the collective juxtapositioning of the characters like what Shnabubula did on the first page will make a cool background. OCR Wallpapers! Joyzilla made one several months ago, but several characters have been added since, and it is out of date. P.S. The title of this thread makes me laugh for some reason. So I am not the only one XD That's what I originally thought when I saw this thread...I wonder how intentional the reference is though.
  8. Oh not at all. It simply means that you're a true gamer like the rest of us B-B-But I thought I was a true gamer? Now I'm gonna get myself eaten by Jabu Jabu thanks to you .
  9. It's off topic, but I think the collective juxtapositioning of the characters like what Shnabubula did on the first page will make a cool background. OCR Wallpapers!
  10. I'd be willing to help write stuff up for many of the characters - I think I know over 75% of them.
  11. I find it sad that I know most of the characters on that list.
  12. It's about fucking time we see some FF6 remixes, and a Terra remix. As much as people have complained about Terra remixes, there hasn't been so much. However, it does ensure that the best video game music song gets the proper tribute, so in the end it does some good . Anyways, this mix made my day (and yesterday on my birthday too). Great arrangement, although I do have some beef with the vocals.
  13. Oooh, the Second Act & Final Act...two of my favorites from ToP. All of you better work pretty damn hard on your remixes, or you'll live in hell for mediocrity! I'll love ya for trying, but come on, with the lack of rearranging ToP's soundtrack, I want the best out there possible!
  14. Edited link, have a field day with SSH's stuff if you haven't heard any before .
  15. Well, if you want a remixed Fighting of the Spirit, there already is one by SSH (http://www.ssh.ne.jp)
  16. All I know is that: 1) This better not die and 2) Fighting of the Spirit better be fucking good.
  17. For those who never listened to this song, go download it now! And then go buy the band's CDs! A version of this song is found on their CD Buck Fever, which is a pretty frickin sweet CD, and is worth what you spend on it. This remix does indeed kick ass though, gotta love their homage to video game music.
  18. At first, I was like "omg, is this the credits?" And yep, I was right. This remix impressed me far more than the other one, as it had been covered much better by Ziwtra (no offense). However, I found the arrangement solid throughout the whole piece, and I thoroughly enjoyed the interpretation.
  19. Hm, the tidal elements to this song does much to alleviate this weary heart...I hate having to face past fears/wrongs and attempt to recify them. Anyway, this song is very good at carrying the melody through various interpretations, while maintaining a steady rhythm and beat, giving a feel of meshing through various phases of life. The first section set the pacing of the song, the trippy element to it. It started simple, and gradually got bolder. At 2:08, it started to show its celtic influences at an attempt to lighten the mood, helping to maintain that trippy feel to the song. Towards the end, it starts to crescendo with orchestration with a sense of something greater out in the horizon.
  20. While this mix is nice, I thought the electronic elements were a little on the weak side. Something about the trance soundfonts sounded like there could've been an improvement in choice...but I didn't listen to it much yet, so I can't comment beyond that.
  21. Listening to it on my ipod...it's really well done. On my first listen, I didn't get to appreciate it as much because I put my speakers on low volume, but on the headphones it has a nice catchy feel to it.
  22. Whoa, this caught me off guard, but so far as I can notice, the beginning is not very inspired.
  23. Torrent is pretty big, but I'll see if I can hold this up for a while. yes. please everyone who can seed it do so. take a look at the bittorrent statistics on the front page and prepare to be shocked! a lot of us are already committed to seeding it. congrats everyone on a great project. i wish i could have done more than just provide a mirror... -rob Damn, it'll pass the Relics of the Chozo torrent in no time....in terms of how much data has been transferred.
  24. The heck? My one complaint about the VGMix version is the out-of-place synthetic guitar - it sticks out like a sore thumb.
  25. Nice, I was just listening to Triforce Majeure too. I'm starting to get a penchant for orchestral techno, it's just so...good... Anyway, good stuff, I see you finally got some better samples .
