  1. So the choices are, ff7-ff9. Final Fantasy 7 is the favorite for many people. The gameplay is great, but leveling is a pain in that game. Final Fantasy 8 has the most complicated junction system, but I've mastered it by now and it's easy to cheat the system. Just use Siren’s life magic recovery refine ability and refine 20 curagas from one tent. Then junction it to HP or STR for an incredibly large head start at the beginning of the game. Also, FF8 is the only one where I got every character to lvl 100. It's pretty easy using the Island closest to Heaven/Island closes to Hell. Just have Quistis at low health and initiative and have her degenerate the enemies and get a level up every battle. But the bad thing is, enemies level up as you do. That means that you can be at lvl 70, and yet there is no monster that you can easily defeat in one shot unless you have something like str+60% or something like that equipped. Final Fantasy 9 holds the best story for me. The level up system is also in my opinion, the best one of the series. Even if it does take forever to level up. However, the synth shops make it so that you can't sell your old equipment because you might need it to form newer and better items. This sometimes leaves you with a shortage of money. Also, you gain abilities as you level up with your equipment. That means that if you get a really cool item, you can't just simply equip it. First you need to fully learn the abilities on your present equipment before you should equip your newer, better stuff. Other final fantasy games I own are: FF1, which I don't feel like playing right now, FF2, which I didn't care for in the first place(personal opinion), FF6, which I am currently playing on my DS(it's a gba game, I know), FF10, which I have done to death and if I have to listen to those guado's bad voice actors again, I will throw my ps2 out the window. FF10-2, which I have no desire playing. I got halfway through before deciding I don't like it. And FF12 which I am finishing up right now. I am currently at lvl 72 and I didn't even get Reddas yet. I want him to be at the highest possible level before I continue because he doesn't improve. So, what do you think?
  2. We must have seen different trailers then. Because at my theatre, we saw Harry Potter 5(which this time looks good), Rush Hour 3, that penguin movie, Pirates of the Caribbean 3, and possibly one other but I don't think so.
  3. Law # 101: Everyone speaks the same language no matter where you are on the planet. First post edit btw.
  4. I wish that people would quit whining about stupid things like copyright infringement. Except for illegal music of course. But that raises another question: If downloading copyrighted music for free is illegal, then why can we listen to a music video on youtube or some amv of it. That’s how I listen to music that I don’t own.
  5. I like #16. That's why I stopped there, so people would see it.
  6. This is a funny set of rules that anime seem to follow. There are some illustrated rules linked below. #24. Law of Americanthropomorphism #26. Law of Feline Mutation #32. Law of Follicular Chroma Variability #34. Law of Probable Attire #37. Law of Extradimensional Capacitance #38. Law of Hydrostatic Emission #46. Law of Flimsy Incognition Although this list isn't complete. The complete list of 100 rules is provided here. For those who don't feel like clicking the link, the first 16 of the 100 are quoted below.
  7. saw it today. Didn't care for it too much. The reason I didn't like 2 was because there was too much of his love life involved. There may have been more in this one. Also, the whole sand man concept was dull and not necessary for me.
  8. Did anyone else hate the second movie? I sure did. The third looks good though and I probably will see it sometime between classes. Edit: This movie is halarious.
  9. ASephiroth is this insane rpg gamer. He has probably has every major rpg 100% complete and done multiple times. He has about 500 videos on youtube. He posted which is where I first saw him. Someone needs to do a remix of the song starting on 2:04 and 6:53. They are the same song, but with little differences. Thanks, but I found it already. I tried to do it over and over again, but I missed the part where you said that you needed to go to two areas and do it again. I only tried going out and back in again. Edit: I said again 3 times in 3 sentences.
  10. Are you ASephiroth by any chance? Also, I just got back from the henne mines doing that bat lvl up trick. The gambit combo worked great. But, it only worked once. I just reread the post and you said that you needed to two areas away so I guess I will try it again. I died by the way. All those undead things on the bottom right area of the map got to me. My characters are lvl 61-63 now and since I died, I have to set all the gambits again. That was a pain.
  11. I just lost about 120 posts for some strange reason. I had about 520, but then it went down to 398. I am logged in, so it shouldn't block me from seeing members only posts. The strange thing is, I still have the title of "Bad Dube(+500)" and yet my post count is below that. Thoughts anyone?
  12. But your sig says beer, not Crush. I smell a conspiracy.
  13. I like to think so. I can give an answer to absolutely everything, but it doesn't mean I'm right.
  14. Actually, I think I have heard the final version. I won't say where in order to keep it a secret, and if you do know where to find it, don't tell. It's good to keep these things under wraps.
  15. So I'm guessing that you're submitting "Still more sexy fighting" that I saw in the wip board? I'm kind of disappointed that I alreasdy know the song already but also excited that I know the inside peek on one of the songs. Good luck.
  16. Man I went looking all over for that dumb Negalmuur. When looking at the beastary, I thought it was those two demon things hanging around the waystone. After I killed them and hung around for 5ive minutes, got really board, and finally looked up them again, I found out that it wasn't them. So I looked everywhere for that rare game and still didn't find it. Also, when I tried to do that bat thing in the Henne mines, I discovered that I couldn't go there because I have 9 espers. When I said that I went into the phase 2 shaft, I meant that one hallway from the feywood. There wasn't much there and I figured that it wasn't worth going. But it was later that I realized that you needed to get there from phase 1 rather than the feywood. Anyway, All the characters are now lvl 55-56. I want to wait until 60 before I go after altima and open up the phase 2 shaft.
  17. How do you know? I actually can wield a katana very well, and I think that I follow the life of discipline that the samurai were known for. But back on topic, Hey Reuben, hows it going? I have been looking through your site recently and I have to admit that I am very impressed with your work. Any ideas on how your going to do birth of god and boss theme? Will it be in any of the styles of your other works?
  18. Ok cool, but what exactly does faith do "augment characters magick"? Haven't a clue how that's supposed ot work. And the curing oponents. Do you need to use gambits to do it? I have never tired it out before. And also, the origional question still stands. Where is the best place to level up? Is it in the mines? What other places are good?
  19. What's that? I went into the phase 2 shaft but the stuff there didn't give much exp so I just packed up and left for nabudis.
  20. I'm sorry to bring this thread up again, but I need to ask a question. Where do you think is the best place to level up? So far I have been going through Nabudis over and over again and it's starting to get really repetative. Oh, and I also found the merchant there by accident and got some cool stuff. I saw somewhere that there was a merchant but I never knew where to look. I just beat guerovegan(sp) and I don't want to go any further because I want reddas to be at as high a level as I can him because he doesn't improve. All my characters are currently between lvl 53-55, and I have no hunts left or espers to get. Also, I just beat the hell wyrm. Son of a gun was the worst or rather unpleasent, boss I have ever faced. It took me 3 hours and all my guys were between lvl 48-50. That hp/mp inverse was a godsend to me because I couldn't have finished it in my first try if it didn't do it. I only had about 8 ethers, 5 high ethers, 5 elixers, and 5 megalixers. And that wouldn't have been enough if he did not do that little favor for me. But back to the origional question: Where do you think is the best place to level up? The place where you get the most exp?
  21. Hey you're right. If you don't like it, don't listen to it. I never said that it was a bad production. I just simply stated that it was something that I would not particularly like. I actually think that the music was incredibly well done. In the end, it all comes down to personal preference. And that's something I can deal with.
  22. You forgot "God of War III" which is going to be exclusive to the ps3. Even though I don't own one, I still want the ps3 to prosper. All the best game franchises came from the ps1 or ps2. Excluding games that came out before that of course. Also, halo is great, and I'm not a zelda fan.
  23. Actually there is only one emotional interpretation of Aeris theme: Aeris Lives by Kevin Lau. Prayer is too distorted by the abruptness of the guitar, and the samba is, well, a samba and isn't very emotional as opposed to just nice to listen to. That is, if you are not counting productions outside of OCR. If you are, then yes, there are alot of emotional Aeris theme songs done. But I think that emotion is the best quality when it comes to which one is the best.
  24. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! You turned Aeris theme into a carnival. This will haunt my nightmares forever.
