I got a game over before I even started playing. It seems that my capture card has a personal vendetta against All SNESs, as I can get half decent video quality with any other console.
I tried one SNES (the phat kind), and two Super Famicoms with three different cables on both composite and S-Video on multiple games, and on every singe one, there were many random one pixel tall horizontal lines that would be shift to the right by just one pixel to really mess things up. All of the same cables on an N64 would look just fine.
Humbug, well I suppose that I could do a run on virtual console, or emulate it, but it just makes me sad as I really want to record a speed run on actual hardware.
I suppose another option would be to tape it, then capture it, or maybe even just run the signal through the vcr, then into the capture card to see if that fixes it...

I don't know about an EPIC backlash, Metacritic is posting several excellent reviews on it with the aggragated score of 86/100. If an epic backlash is defined with inappropriate proportions, such as FFXIII not getting 95/100 or something, just imagine would've happened if it got 40/100! Oh, the planet would be begging for nuclear apocalypse then, I'll tell you whut.
I wager it'll be another solid and divisive title in a series that's had the same things said about it since VII. Just relax and enjoy what there is to be enjoyed.
also, metacritic puts down reviews from "haterboisephy69" and all sorts of rediculous small blogs that absolutely LOVE to hate on established series and give games like mario galaxy 1 out of 5s
so given that metacritic probably isn't even as high as it should be

The backlash is going to be epic for this game. It has already soundly been rejected in Japan by even the most ardent of fanboys... I have to wonder how bad it'll be here.

I've been doing this for almost two weeks.
Once the winter dies down, I'll start running again as well.
P90X gets results. Don't let the fact that it's a dvd infomercial fool you, it will take you a long way if you follow it well.
As a collegiate rower, I use the yoga, abs and plyo sections and all of them still do a lot for me, the workouts are no joke.
