I thought this would suck so much but deep down inside there was something nagging me to see it anyway
I am so glad I was wrong about it sucking

I might actually buy this, and that's saying something since I never buy downloady stuff off the internet (even if it's a dollar)

Usually I prefer studio but live can be fun

Aw man they should do what they did in... Harmony of Dissonance? (What the fuck guys you really couldn't think of a different musical word for this one?) In one of the GBA games, you could play as the 8-bit Simon in the boss rush (shitty jumping and absurd knockback and everything!)
-
I would totally get it if I had friends

I'm in the 'Wait, Fallout 3 had original music?' camp, but that doesn't stop me from enjoying the mix. The first 2 minutes or so make a really awesome atmosphere, and it picks up in a pretty satisfying way while still keeping the great piano and weird industrialish sounds. Even though I don't recognize any source in this, it's still a great track regardless. Definitely a download for me!

Have the most delightful annual celebration of being born, sir!

Oh yeah when I went to Arizona this Christmas, I went to a silly gift shop somewhere that had a register make the Sonic ring noise. Coincidence? Probably

I love you
Great find!

Oh damn, I'm pretty impressed by that Gamecube thing. Like holy fuck.

*chime* The Genere Ain't My Thing!
But come on. I didn't like the somewhat recently posted 'Link to the Mask' all that much either, but I'll admit it was clever and well made. Like someone said, this just feels like a lazy in-joke that only seeks to offend, somehow...
Every generation needs their 'The Music of My Groin', I suppose.

I heard someones ringtone, which was the music when you fight a Wily boss in Mega Man 3
Wait that was me, I have a VGMless life outside of my own tunes.

During what was basically study hall two years ago, I had most of the room watching me as I went through I Wanna Be The Guy. Notably they saw Mecha Birdo, Kraidgief, Mother Brain, and they saw me attempt The Guy MANY, MANY times. They were so supportive too <3
edit: Also when the fuck did I get 300 posts I swear I don't think I'm that active.

Sector 1 from Metroid Fusion. Totally kickass.

Remember in the cartoon where it took 7 Earth Benders and a four second dance to move a rock the size of someones head very slowly at a firebender?

Pokemon Yellow's music, particularly Route 1, actually had me paying attention to it. Before that, I didn't think video game music was 'real' music. Not the most majestic example to break that stereotype but hey, at least I did it early.

The first game I remember clearly is Crash Bandicoot (god damn I'm a young one here), but I'm pretty sure I used to have a Genesis or something before the PS1... not Sonic, though.
I also (not so clearly) remember some helicopter game with old graphics, but that could be anything.

Our first non-DJP remix and it... is pretty cool
The intro is fantastic, and as a whole this reminds me of something Frank Klepacki would do if he was happier (especially with that snare and the squishy synths near the end). Some samples could be better, but for this that's nitpicking. A good oldie, I just wish it weren't so damn short
-
Meh. The quality of nearly all the instruments reminds me of a midi, aside from the percussion on occasion. And yeah, the intro is very annoying. At 2:23 when it chills out a little more, it gets better, maybe a little more realistic-sounding... and then before you know it it just ends. Some remixes have aged well on this site, and I'm afraid this isn't one of them. Sorry
-
I'll agree with the later comments here, this mix does seem a little flat, and a little fake. However, I definitely like the (what I believe is a harp) playing in the background, that's a nice little touch that really does wonders for the remix. The site will see better, but for the first 'orchestral' remix on this site I can certainly forgive the flaws.

And as quick as they came, the portals are gone =(
I guess they realized how cheap they made most levels, which does make it a good move I guess.

Tables - Tazers
(if anyone cares)
I love this game to death

The latest episode just wasn't very good. Making fun of Apple again? Come on Futurama I know you were in Purgatory while everyone else was doing that but you have to move on, it's a dead joke.
Also, Susan Boil? REALLY? Ugh.
The next episode looks kind of neat though, gay robots or something? Let's see what happens there

Insant... classic. Once again Instant Remedy knows how memorable a good intro can make a song, and doesn't disappoint. Like people have said, it's a fantastic blend of 8-bit and conventional synths. Pretty sure I can hear the same 'instrument' from the Ghosts and Goblins mix previously that I loved! It's not exactly a revolutionary, take me to new heights song, but it's definitely a groovy track and worth a download.
