  1. Sweet! Lookin' forward to this! Hell, I'll review it once it's out and post it on my site and RPM (I'm sure you know what that is, considering the site you came from); the usual places!
  2. I still have a WIP of your Third Strike track on my comp; only because I've been too lazy to delete it. rofl. I can't wait for this!
  3. Well, my secret has been revealed in IRC, so I'll reveal it here as well. I rename all tracks from the site proper (not albums) to OverClocked ReMixes. I don't like seeing web addresses as album names; my personal preference.
  4. lol yeah. There's no love for the Athletic theme from that game; it's always the Castle BGM. I just remembered another. Mad Monster Mansion from Banjo-Kazooie!
  5. Actually, I rather enjoyed it. I think you should sample something other than actual in-game stuff, personally, but it was nice. Good job.
  6. At this rate, might as well throw some MM10 tracks in for fun. Not that I'm saying you should, of course. Updates would be nice.
  7. OCR was started based off of the idea of a remixing community that only allowed C64 remixes. DJP felt that all games for all systems should have remixed music, not just one system. So he spun OCR off of the comic he made at the time, OverClocked, and now we have this. Read his interview at my website for a better explanation.
  8. I'm gonna say FF7's soundtrack showed evolution; it was the first game in the series that had a final boss theme with vocals. Probably was made possible by the hardware it was on, but still. Feel free to tell me to shut up if I'm wrong on any of this.
  9. All I can say is that I remember Nobuo Uematsu saying in an interview how back in the Famicom days, the hardware limited the music to 3 simultaneous sounds, at most. Obviously it's better now. Yeah, other members might be able to help more. But I gave a start!
  10. Probably, since Inafune loves taunting the Legends fans by doing all these cameos instead of just getting the go-ahead to make Legends 3.
  11. Well Light is a douche, even in the games. Says so in his Database entry in Megaman & Bass. See? Last page. BAD POINT: Douchie
  12. All I do is rename the tracks with their names and the game they're from. Such as Subterranean Kamikaze (TMNT IV), Metamorphic Rock (Sonic 1), The Accursed Seal (Castlevania II), and so on. I keep album track names intact. And yes, I used Sixto's tracks for my examples. Shut up. I do the same with tracks from DoD and other sites.
  13. Wow... I just realized that this is called The Sound of Speed... I've been reading it as The Speed of Sound for months... lol. Nice artwork, halc. Dig the logo!
  14. That's okay. Don't worry about it. That would be cool; I should have a lot more stable life by then, so I can't wait!

  15. Why didn't I look there? Also, I wish you luck, both with this and finding a new name for your Mega Man Universe section!
  16. I'm in no hurry. Plus, I've got a killer migraine right now; kinda like for that to die out beforehand.

  17. Umm... I don't have a cell phone... so I can't really text you...

  18. PLEASE! WON'T YOU GRANT THIS POOR MAN'S REQUEST? Seriously? Nothing? It's been 6 months now. From what I understand, mixes could've been made and gone through the judges by now. Seriously, do this. Now.
  19. Well.. it happens. Oh well.

  20. So... I just finished watching it (it's available on screwattack.com) and I have to say... it wasn't that bad. There are numerous references to the original game (including sprites and such), and it's all around not too bad. There are things I didn't like, but overall the little references outweighed that stuff for me. Go watch it if you want to!
  21. *BUMP* chumble_spuzz contacted me; he's checking his hard drive for stuff. Can't let this get to Page 2 again...
  22. lol Hmm... can't have this thread without mentioning Wily Stage 1 from MM2.
