  1. that's better than the moron i saw who swore the game was gonna fail so they were gonna port it. because that is apparently something nintendo will do as publisher
  2. Such an adventurous track, love it. Also the mountain is icy so yeah. Mega Man X3 - Blizzard Buffalo I had linked an arrangement of this track in IRC, which gave capa here the idea for this theme. And then he wondered why I didn't post it after he made this thread. So here.
  3. Considering they're taking an immense amount of care in keeping everything that made Bayonetta, well, Bayonetta, in the sequel, I don't think there's much to worry about there.
  4. I'll have to correct you on this. Bayonetta 2 would NOT exist AT ALL if it weren't for Nintendo; everyone else passed on it.
  5. there is always a need for audio fidelity. where is that guy anyway?
  6. only 12-year-olds take it seriously too XD
  7. Oh I know, I'm just pointing out that people slap that CASUAL label on when it's not even true.
  8. Just as enjoyable as your other mixes, man. Nice work :3
  9. such incredibly flawless logic, there's no way i could ever argue with that i'm done
  10. There's also the fact that the "hardcore" gamer and "casual" gamer things are just fictional labels people use to try to make themselves better than other people when we're all gamers. We all play games, regardless of differing content and genre and style. To try to label something as a "hardcore" console or a "casual" one is doomed to fail from the start simply because those labels are inapplicable. Any console can provide any experience that may fall under those categories. The PlayStation 3 may have a lot of supposedly "hardcore" games but by the same token, there's a lot that could be called "casual." In the same way, the Wii has a lot of "casual" games at first glance, if you're keen on using those terms, but closer inspection reveals some more "hardcore" titles as well. It comes down to a matter of personal definition, which surely varies from person to person. And for that reason it fails. The Wii U may be labeled a "casual" console, but even with the launch lineup that's already untrue. Any attempt to state otherwise is inherently false, for the evidence proving it as such is there for the taking. One only needs to look and see; otherwise you're just proving your own ignorance and dooming your argument.
  11. It's a rumor. From a rather old GIF, no less.
  12. See, the thing is, though the Wii U does have these capabilities, as far as playing Wii games, it doesn't matter. I have some experience with this considering the Gamecube compatibility on the Wii. When playing a Gamecube game, there is no way for it to see the Wii hardware such as the SD card, USB ports, Wiimotes, any of that. Basically you're just playing a Gamecube as is within the skin of a Wii. It's most likely the same with Wii software on Wii U. Though there's all this stuff that the Wii U adds, when running Wii software it's invisible and might as well not exist. This is also why you can't run Wii VC games on the tablet (the Wii can't see that so it can't use it). So much like the Wii-skinned Gamecube when playing, say, Mario Sunshine on Wii, so too will it be a Wii U-skinned Wii when playing, say, Mario Galaxy. It's also the same thing as needing a PS1 memory card when playing a PS1 game on a PS2; the PS1 game can't see the PS2 memory card. It's not programmed to, and how could it be? You can't program something to be compatible with something, to be aware of something that doesn't exist at the time of programming. So honestly, though having HD-upscaled Wii games would be nice, they would have to be re-released (much like they did with some games like Pikmin 2 on the Wii) in order to do so. As it stands, Wii games can't take advantage of the HD capabilities of the Wii U simply because they aren't programmed to. When the Wii U runs a Wii game, it's the same as running it on the Wii.
  13. you could make this into a jetsons theme song parody MEET THIS GUY BLIND HIS FRIEND AARON OTHER FRIEND BEN JADE HIS WIFE yeah it was all for that last part regardless sounds like a fun room.
  14. Donkey Kong Country 2 - In A Snow-bound Land It's great, and really conveys the beauty of the area the stages are in magnificently. It's beautiful. :3 I'd also like to give a shout-out to because it's great and really has a great wintery feel to it.
  15. from the press release also bayonetta 2, though that's not in the launch window
  16. Use the Wii U Pro controller, obviously.

  18. Oh ye of little faith. I'm sure WayForward packs a lot more into retail titles than the downloadables such as the Mighty series.
  19. From all I've seen of it already, it will be great. Zelda II-style overworld map, sidescrolling areas with fighting, light RPG elements, and combining items to change effects (a hamburger restores some health whereas adding ketchup to it restores all health), along with series creator Pendleton Ward being actively involved in development to ensure the game is as accurate to the show as possible means it will be.
  20. if you collabed with me and tuberz it would be funny because it would be me, callum and calum
  21. Well hey, welcome to the site. Enjoy your stay and I hope to see some mixes of yours in the workshop. good game list too :3
