----(sorry, I hit send on accident)---- I'm a newcomer (well, at least new to submitting) at OC, so I apologize in advance for any of this whole submission process I might not be doing right. I read the guidelines and I did set up the ID3v2 tags wrong, but I can't change it now where I have it hosted. Sorry about that, but I do have the information in here that should go where it should have been. pretty cool arrangement. - djp ReMixer Name: Jean Of mArc Real Name: Jean-Marc Giffin E-Mail Address: jeanofmarc@hotmail.com Userid: 9776 Name of ReMix: Fly Me To The Bridge Name of Game: Darkwing Duck Name of Songs ReMixed: The Menu Screen / The Bridge Level Year of Release: 1992. I am unable to upload a new version with the tags required, so please retag the IDs according to your system. I suppose the main reason I chose this song to remix is because I was simply upset that no one else had done it yet. This game had some seriously fun, jazzy spy-like music, and I really wished I could hear an arrangement of it. So I took the liberty of doing it myself! The song that always stuck out at me as a kid was the Bridge song, and so that is the one I took to remix. This remix takes the menu song as well, as a medley, and a few original sections that I feel fit the piece. Hopefully this song will do it enough justice so that others out there who've always wanted a Darkwing Duck arrangement will be satisfied. Thanks! Jean Of mArc

You can check us out on our site: www.coreyvscorey.com Your ReMixer name: Corey vs Corey Your real name: Mike, Josh, Criss Your email address: criss@coreyvscorey.com ReMix title: Katamari on the Drugs This is a rock version of the theme to Katamari Damashii on the PS2. It was originally composed by Yu Miyake, Masayuki Tanaka. It is a Namco release. You can find info on the soundtrack at www.namco.com We are living on an island in south Texas recording a rock album. We do quite a bit of gaming during breaktime. The gameplay and soundtrack to Katamari Damashii impressed the hell out of us. After about 2 hours of playing we all had the theme song stuck in our heads. We went into the garage, put together our own version, and (having our resources) recorded it. The whole process took about 4 days incuding mixdown and mastering. We are sick of this song now, but everyone on the net seems to love it. Email sub file Locutus - Lotus TurboSlayer.mp3 - djp Hello, my remixer name is "Locutus" and I have done a remix of the "Lotus II - Turbo Challange Title Theme" (originally composed by Barry Leitch and published by Eletronic Arts). The name of my remix is "Lotus TurboSlayer". The game was released on the Commodore Amiga and on the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive as far as I know. I have included a link to the original version (in the Amiga MOD format): http://www.mirsoft.info/gmb/music_info.php?id_ele=NjQ4 Comments: I used to play the game on my old Sega Genesis. I really liked the music and the game itself, though it certainly is not beatable (by far too difficult). Years later, I thought about doing a remix with FruityLoops. The name of the remix derives from the plugin that simulates the e-guitar. I have recorded the lead e-guitar's and the plucked string's notes using my keyboard (conntected to the MIDI interface). I think, this makes music sound more real. If not, let me know. I'd like any feedback! (end comment) I hope you can use my remix. Greetings, locutus

To djpretzel and all the other OC Remix judges--what's up? Well, after being a fan of your site for a year or so now, I finally managed to get my band together and cut a PHAT track of--you guessed it--Shadow Man's theme from MM3. The recording is a live recording of my band, "The Institute for the Advancement of Funk and Soul". We are a funk initiative conceived at Stanford University last year, and consisting of drums, bass, guitar, keyboard, and sax. My name's Stedman and I play the keyboard. Anyway, I really hope you guys enjoy this number. Contact Info: Remixer Name: The Institute for the Advancement of Funk and Soul Real Name: Stedman Wilson, Baiju Bhatt, Dylan Alegria, Mitchell Wilcox, Leslie Finger Email: funkhaus@stanford.edu Website: www.institutefunk.com Link to song: Remix Info: Remix Name: "Shadow Man's Band" Game Remixed: Megaman 3 (NES) Song Remixed: Shadow Man's Level Comments: There's little doubt that Shadow Man's music is among the funkiest of all the Megaman 3 tracks. But just how funky would it sound with a NASTY fender telecaster screeching out the melody? REAL FUNKY. If Shadow Man had a band himself, this is how they'd break it down.

Hello! The link to my entry submission is here: My Remixer name is Dyka. My E-mail is DykaOfLight@gmail.com I remixed a song from the Sega CD game, Earthworm Jim: Special Edition. I remixed the song, Use Your Head, from the pre-level of the last level. The composer for most (maybe all) of the songs on Earthworm Jim is Tommy Tallarico. I'd provide a link to the original song, but I don't have a reliable location for it. When I first heard Use Your Head, I was like, "Dude..." That was back when the game had first come out back in 1995. Today, I've developed a hobby of composing music, and now I have remixed the song, yay!! The idea I had for the song was to use the main verse in it after a nice slow intro. As you'll hear, the second half has a sharp fall, and can be compared to Jim, our hero, having finished off Queen Slug-A-Butt, and now the credits are rolling (even though the credit music is nothing like this). I decided to use the piano in a different way, and gave it the pattern normally used by the Sytrus. And the final part is the climax of the song. That is all. -- With Respect, Evan McKinney

Over the 6MB limit, but in the interest of time, let's assume he'd submit a shorter version... if we asked... - djp User name: Paul138 Real name: Paul Fannon E-Mail: kwyjibo138@yahoo.com Website: . Click on/download from "OCR" User ID: You should really tell people where they're supposed to find this. ReMix of Final Fantasy VI, from the Intro and Kefka themes. "The Evil Jester Cometh" An idea no first-time remixer should ever have to try to manifest. This mix started six months ago as a Cold War project for school. An option was to write a song that related to Russian Communism, which immediately reminds me of Stalin, whom immediately reminds me of Kefka. After months of recording off my Casio (yeah, that's right, a Casio) and tweaking the mix to how it sounds in my head, here it is for all to enjoy. I'm not completely satisified with the sound quality, but I'm sick of mastering and EQing and choosing how to mix so-and-so and blah blah blah that this version is as close as I'll get to what I want. Guitars, bass guitars, and manicial laughter is provided by yours truly. I know this exceeds the file size standards of OCR, but either djp or one of the judges will have to do custom encoding. I hope it's not asking a lot but I feel the rearrangment and structure of the mix gives the length justice. Full details and personal thoughts to be released upon posting of the mix. I hope you all enjoy this, and Happy Halloween.

I have a different version of a track of mine ('Eternal Lament' from the game Eternal Champions) that i would like to be judged instead of the first version i have sent you. is there any possible way to stay where i am at in the cue, but have you look at this version i am sending you??? If that was possible, i would be eternally greatful!!! Everything i have said about the previous version is applicable. This is a track close to my heart, and i believe it to be good enough to be posted on OC remix:) Changes i have made to this track are minimal.... played with levels and removed the repeat of the chorus at the end of the song... Thanks again for your time:) Robbie (AkumajoBelmont)

Email sub file Singles.mp3 - djp Bio: Name: Patrick Wagstaff Age: 17 Sex: Male Location: Texas I love making music, movies, playing games, and Jesus! Instruments Played: | Guitar | Piano | (I want to learn the Cello) **Kevin Stephens is my true inspiration for this piece. The way he composed the Homes of Hyrule Movements in piano simply just gave me the will and urge to do the same. But where to start? It took me a while but I finally found a piece. The theme from the game "Singles - Flirt up your Life". The pop jazzish song really wasn't what I was looking for but after listening to it for a time the song got stuck in my head. A few weeks later I had the piece ready and was off to do some recording.Relative Audio owned by Relative Films generously let me use there studios to record my song. So special thanks goes out to them. A whole Sunday of recording and it's finally here, the theme from Singles in Piano recorded live at Relative Audio. -Enjoy

Email sub file takage2b.mp3 - djp Greetings DJ Pretzel, Remixer name :- The Trilobyte Real name :- Matt Armstrong Game:- Chrono Cross Song :- Dancing the takage This is a funk rock remix of the jiggy folk theme "Dancing the takage" used in Termina in Chrono Cross. It came about actually while I was just seeing if I could do a copy of the song, then I changed a few notes, added some different notes in and put guitars instead. It definately comes off very different from the original while at the same time, not forgetting where it came from. So suitable, I named it "Jammin the takage". Hopefully attempt 2 will make it on yer site, if not...I keep pluggin away till i get something good Thanks so much for your work, my winamp wouldn't be the same without your website.

I have finally decided to stick my neck out and submit it. It is inspired by Chopin's last and posthumous nocturne. I have written it to be calm and moving, so I am sorry if it is boring. If you do find this submission to be unacceptable, I would ask the judges to consider if a live performance of it would be. The ReMix may be found at: Thank you for your time and for keeping OC ReMix alive. Sincerely, Ryan Michael Necas

This is a guitar driven remix of the second stage, recorded with some seven string guitars and it's really heavy stuff. I don't know if it's ok to mention it here, but this song is classified as a Stuff of Legends on VGMix. Hello, My username on OCR is Urafaerie. Back in August I sent in one of my remixes called Summoner's Pact from the game Tales of Symphonia. It has been over two months now and I still see no judgement on the song, I do not see it on the *to be judged* section of the Judging Forum. I would just like to know if my song is still in processing to be judged. You can reach me at Phaty000@excite.com P.S. The song is on Soundclick if needed: Thanks for your time and hope you reply!

*NO* Wizards & Warriors 'A Knight at the Concerto Hall'
djpretzel posted a topic in Judges Decisions
Hi! I would like to submit i a remix of the intro to Wizards and Warriors. I know, it's not the most original of choices, but I really like that melody and I havn't really heard any classical mix of it, so I started making one. It also has a little bit of Necrotown from Heroes of Might and Magic 2 expansion in there. It's in variable 256 bitrate, made with Reason 2.5, encoded to mp3 in audio catalyst. The remix can be found on: C3NX0R3D!!~ And here comes the additional details: Remixer name: Jools Real name: Joel Karlsson E-mail: joel_karlsson@hotmail.com No website and no ID in the forums Games remixed: Wizards & Warriors with a little bit of Heroes of Might and Magic 2 in it Songs remixed: Fron W&W intro, from HoMM2, the expansion song of Necrotown I hope it's good enough to be submited, and I hope to get some feedback on it... it's my first musical thing made in years... Have a nice day! Best of Regards Joel Karlsson ________________________ -
Hello, Here is my latest remix ReMixer : DarK PurPLe Name : Francis Veilleux Gaboury a.k.a. Phrancis Email : djphrancis@hotmail.com Website : www.Phrancis-Productions.com Game(s) : Tetris and Tetris by Tengen (Tetris-t) Song(s) : In order, "Intro", "Kalinka", "Troika", "Loginska" (Tengen), "Bradinsky" (Tengen), "Technotris", "Level Up" Comments : The 4th and final version of my Tetris megamix. The first version was made about 5 years ago on MTV Music Generator. And it sucked. Then in winter 2004 I began remaking it with Fruity Loops (and as a General MIDI file), which took well over 30 hours to re-arrange. Then a few months ago, I decided to use the General MIDI file and assign instruments from Reason to it, tweaked it a lot, mixed it down with professionnal gear, and here it is, finally! I hope you'll enjoy it, I put a lot of my time (over 100 hours I bet) and sweat into that!
