Another submission, which I think should stand a much better chance than that of my previous one (African Mines) of getting posted. Contact Info: My remixer name: Lie Mf B Real name: Henrik Lidbjörk Mail adress: lie.b@runtimerecords.net Website: http://lidbjork.homelinux.org/nintendo OCR forum ID number: ??? ReMix Info: Game remixed: Mega Man (for NES) Song title: (Let Me Stand Next To Your) Fire Storm My comments: Here's my latest effort, and the first in which I consiously did a bigger rearrangement of the song. Like all my NES tunes, it has a sampled drumtrack, in this case from The Stone Roses' "Daybreak". The bassline, played on electric guitar, has undergone a Blaxploitation kind of turnover, with the main guitar getting some flanger effects and then wah-wah for the solo. On top of that two other small guitar lines for added funk. Everything are real instruments, miked and recorded straight into the computer. The title, BTW, is a reference to the chorus in Jimi Hendrix's "Fire". The rest of my NES stuff is available at http://lidbjork.homelinux.org/nintendo Thanks in advance!

LT Edit - Original decision: http://www.ocremix.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=44882 Hi. My nickname is Robo. FIGHTERS ANTHEM ::::::::: This is the new version of "Creaky Wrestling Tune". Actually I replaced the old tune for the new one long ago but to my disappointment you had already made a review of "Creaky.." just before I put it up. Now. According to the last review it seems not to many people are very familiar with the original song. That one is only 10 seconds long. One baseline and a lead. (Unfortunately I havn't found any NSF of it, if you know, please put a link). But still it rocks! I remember sitting paralysed in front of the tv just listening to that tune over and over again. You see, that's the whole point. The beat goes on. Last time you complained about just that. From my point of view, it lacked texture in the arrangement, that's what the new version sorts out, and maybe that's why you got bored. But the beat going on.. that's most deliberate. Well. You might still think it's repetitive though. In that case, try to listen to it as if it was from a NES tribute album or something. I know very well what I'm doing. Music production and composing is my profession. And as to this point, you still have no Pro Wrestling song at your site. Ain't that a shame. Anyway. This is the final version. Hope you dig it enough.

email sub file The White Knight.mp3 - very cool changes to the progression at times - djp Hey there ! CPacaud Christian Pacaud cpacaud@saintstudios.com --- Final Fantasy 6 Celes’ Theme I always thought Celes was the most interesting and well-developed character from the game’s cast… Always struggling between her allegiances and her friendships to the point where she almost destroys herself; strong yet still fragile. At the time, many years ago, I felt really attached to her story and I can remember playing the melody from her theme on the piano. It was only natural that I’d finally put my own touch to this wonderful piece, so here it is. Now I’m feeling nostalgic, might have to take the old SNES out of the closet !

Linkage : http://www.vgmix.com/song_view.php?song_id=2414 Hi. Quote : The Orichalcon (TO) - "I voted you first in PRC15, RZ0. Party in the Plumber Kingdom is the best remix I've heard from you so far. It's submitable in my opinion." So, blame him for that Well, this is a remix of the mushroom kingdom I did for PRC15. (Super Mario RPG - hello, happy kingdom) PRC kicks ass. That being said, reelmojo is awesome. Overall musical style : weird and overly happy... The Legend of Zelda : A Link to the Original Song - http://www.vgmusic.com/music/console/nintendo/snes/mushroom.mid (sorry, worst pun ever. :/ ) I got 2nd place in PRC15. Really. I don't know how, though. Quote : DJP - "Submitters should note that they must explicitly state in their submission emails their desire to have links left to their mixes." I hereby explicitly state my desire to have the link left to my mix. well, I think that's all. - Remixer info and all that stuff : Name : ReaktorZ0 Mail : reactor999@NOSPAMaltern.org (remove the 'NOSPAM') Website : http://www.bigsmad.worldmast.com Forum UserID : 15560

Extremely hard Techstep DrumNBass. Not for the faint of heart. • Contact Info ? rundll ? Richard Whitelock ? rich@brfuk.com ? www.rundll.co.uk • ReMix Info ? Judge Dredd VS Death ? Megacity Megasound ? The Musician was primarily Tom Bible. This song is kind of an oddity. As it was originally made by rundll and the version in the game is a remix by Tom Bible. So although it wasn't 'remixed' specifially from the original it is an alternate mix. I've been wanting to have it released on vinyl for quite a while now, although it would probably need re-engineering. In the meantime it's always nice to increase the number of people who hear it. Hence the submission to ocremix. It's been doing the rounds on other video game remix sites and features in lots of peoples hotlists on vgmix.com. It was made entirely in Reason beta 2.5. I have no idea how as I look upon the original reason rack with horror. My tip, don't make entire songs in Reason unless you have to. Contrary to popular belief there are no Guitars in this track. Some people hate the long intro. Other people love it. So it stays in for the nice extremist reactions it generates. rundll consists of myself and Paul Taylor. Paul Taylor is known on the UK gig scene as hardcrazydanceelectronica act nervous_testpilot (http://www.nervoustestpilot.co.uk). rundll are planning on releasing a lot more hard hitting drum n bass in the future. We are both also a part of the A Scholar & A Physician 'crew' and partake in their activities having played in various ASAP live shows and contributed to the free ASAP albums. My only main musical claim to fame really is that I instigated & oversaw the Super Mario Dirty Mix. So it's mostly my fault...mostly. Thanks Richard Whitelock

Contact Info TwiTerror Josh Whelchel josh@syntesis.org http://josh.syntesis.org 8715 (Forum UserID) ReMix Info Chrono Trigger Gato's Song (Gonzales' Song) This went through so many revisions it hurt. I'm quite happy with the end product, and I feel that I've been able to watch the mix grow in a positive direction. I know it may seem a bit experimental, but that's perhaps what I like most about it. I wonder if anybody could classify this in a genre :3 Oh yes, I call it "Gato Does the Dirty" Thanks. ~ Josh Whelchel

Contact Info: Remixer Name: Xerol Real Name: Xerol Oplan Email address: xerol@lggaming.com / xerol3@yahoo.com * Website: http://www.lggaming.com (Main Page) http://www.lggaming.com/user/xerol (Personal folder) ForumID: 9335 Remix Info: Name of Game(s): Final Fantasy VI Name of Individual Song(s): Terra's Theme Link: ** Special notes: *First email is work email, second is the one I use for forums. Either one works, I just check the first one more often. **Our server doesn't allow Parenthesis in filenames. The filename was supposed to be ...Daylight(Part_1)_... but I couldn't upload it because it didn't allow the parenthesis. So, this is a remix of Terra's Theme(I can hear the groans already). I decided, however, instead of concentrating on the melody, to develop and bring out the progression and arrangement behind the main melody. The song has 5 sections, each with the main melody repeating, but differing variations on the rest of it throughout, including several mid-stream key-changes(between sections) and a gradual tempo increase throughout the whole piece. It's Part 1 because it's part of the "soundtrack" to a short FFVI movie project I'm doing on the side(on top of the 45 other projects I'm involved in). Part 2 is Celes' theme, and then after that it develops into a combined arrangement of Terra, Celes, and the Figaro Castle themes in Parts 3, 4, 5, and 6, and finishes up with a Prelude + Figaro thing for Part 7. Parts 2-6 are meant as more of background music, however, and I won't be submitting those even after I finish them, but I might consider Part 7. The song was arranged in Finale, from there I took it to FL and applied soundfonts and effects, and finalised in Cool Edit. (Oh, and if any of this seems incoherent, it's because I haven't been to sleep yet.)

The piano is very cut and dry, little attention given sustain pedal since I didn't have control of it at the time. It's an arrangement, it's Chrono Trigger, I think it's pretty good but I didn't want it to be my first host. Do with it what you will. Peace.

Catchy - djp Hey all! In an anticipatory response to my last e-mail to DJP, here's the Remix Factory's OC submission debut! REMIX INFO: URL: GAME: Sonic CD REMIX TITLE: Glitter-Trance in K-Klub ORIGINAL TITLE: Stardust Speedway (JAP) SYSTEM: Sega CD COMMENTS: "A few of our producers have been fans of the OC community for a long while and it was only a matter of time before they convinced LB to let them submit a mix using the 'Remix Factory' guise. This track falls somewhere between funky-house and trance as well as using our traditional K-Klub (our most popular product) style - hence its title. We weren't sure about submitting a remix as we're an already established production outfit and it may upset some members of the community, but as it says in the guidelines "anyone can submit a remix" and at the end of the day, music is there to be shared. Plus, we're really excited about putting our first mix to the judging panel!! CONTACT INFO: REMIXER: Remix Factory E-MAIL: info@remix-factory.co.uk WEBSITE: www.remix-factory.co.uk USERID: 21841 Peace out! ~ Mark

You know how after finishing a piece of music it's sometimes almost impossible to get back into it? I wrote this back in March, I think, and didn't have the guts to submit it at the time. Since then, I've tried several times to pick it back up and update it, but it invariably ends up sounding worse to me than it did to begin with. So, I've finally decided it was either perfect from the start, or I'm tired of waiting So, without further ado, I present: Broadway! As this is my first submission, I guess should also include this stuff: Personal Info: ReMixer name: inertia real name: John McCormick or John William McCormick IV - take your pick email address: john@jiv.us website: http://jiv.us/ forum userid: terin ReMix Info: Name of Game: Wrecking Crew Name of song: BGM A Composer: Hirokazu Tanaka System: NES NSF Found at: http://www.planetnintendo.com/nindb/nes/wr/index.shtml NSF Found at: http://www.atarihq.com/tsr/nsf/nsf.html My thoughts: As I said above, I think it's either perfect the way it is or so far from where it should be that it'll never get there. My main regrets are (a) the ok-at-best quality of my samples, and ( the fact that I couldn't expand the interesting bits towards the end any further. Nevertheless, I think this is a fun piece, and that it captures the feel of the game it's coming from quite well. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do! -john

Very trancy and upbeat. I tried to keep it from getting repetitive and old. I also tried as hard as I could to perfect the overall quality. If this remix doesn't meet the standards any criticism and suggestions would be immensely helpful towards me making it better. Thank you for your time.
