  2. GOTTA MIX ‘EM ALL! OC ReMix Presents Pokémon: The Missingno Tracks! March 2, 2011 Contact: press@ocremix.org FAIRFAX, VA--Fifteen years ago, a small company called GAME FREAK released a role-playing game called Pokémon for the Nintendo Game Boy. In the years since, Pokémon has gone on to sell over 200 million copies and continues to be one of the most successful video game series of all time. Fans around the world have spent countless hours training and battling their favorite monsters, and now we are on the threshold of a new adventure with Pokémon Black and White, the next installations of the popular franchise, due for Northern American release on the Nintendo DS on March 6th. In honor of the epic legacy this franchise has created for itself, OverClocked ReMix has released today The Missingno Tracks, a fan-made tribute to the music of Pokémon. Director Gerry "The Damned" Wheatley and 24 musicians have worked together to create 28 unique arrangements of themes from across the many generations of the handheld series. Now, you can "catch 'em all" for free at http://missingno.ocremix.org! Director Gerry Wheatley says, "Fans of the games will hear familiar tunes remade into pulse-pounding techno, piano concertos, rock ballads and chiptunes, and much more. Each track was created to delight the ears of Pokémon fans and music-enthusiasts alike. We, the contributing musicians and OC ReMix, present to you this musical journey through the world of Pokémon." This album was produced to help promote the music of Pokémon, was made by fans, for fans, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by GAME FREAK, Creatures or Nintendo; all original compositions are copyright their respective owners. 3. There's compression - which, by the way, you'll find on pretty much every major game recording/ost, to SOME extent - but no clipping that I'm aware of. Clamato Fever is, as BGC mentions, intentionally going for an over-compressed sound. Give us some time markers for what you think is clipping. If you ask me - hell, even if you don't - it's pretty asinine and tactless to ask what should have been a simple question - "Does anyone else hear clipping?" but instead toss around words like "amateur" and "compression-city". Never assume that problems you're having, specifically, are indicative of a larger problem or failure on someone else's part, when they could just as easily be your own...
