  1. Hey, folks. I recently finished my instrumental symphonic metal album (started working on it in 2008 and thought I'd give it some attention from the pros so yeah, here it is. Ultima Eternus @ Tindeck (Stream only) Ultima Eternus @ BandCamp (Stream / Purchasable) It's also on Grooveshark and on its way to iTunes, Spotify, etc... Now sure, it'd be nice if I got a few extra sales here, but I'm also interested in what you think of it in terms of composition, mixing, mastering, etc. What was good, what was bad and why. It is however 65 minutes in total split over 5 tracks with the final one being a big old 24m 55s so it's understandable if you wanna pass. :3 The feedback is important since I'm working on a sequel and as this is allready out the door and on its way, if i screwed up somewhere, then I would definitely keep that in mind for the sequel project but I really can't see the forest for the trees with this one anymore. I think I've probably spent over 1000 hours of work on it. Anyway, it's also downloadable on my Newgrounds profile for free but only in VBR mp3 quality. So, enjoy and tell me what you think!
  2. I've listened to OCRemix submissions for many years now and just wanted to thank the community for being such a well of inspiring and talented people. You guys all make the world a better place to live in. Thank you.
  3. love the mellow atmosphere with the relatively upbeat tempo and slightly glitchy dnb. though it may need some high pad floating over the lead or some such. just my thoughts on it. good stuff either way. especially love the snare work close to the end!
  4. http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/367157 Hope to get some feedback on the mixing as thats what I wanted to practice when I made this one. Also, enjoy. :3
  5. I've reuploaded the track on the same link. It's now alot better imo. Thank you both for the feedback!
  6. So yeah, I've sent you a master wav of my Secret of Mana boss track remix and I'm now uploading my recently completed remix master of "Clash of Light and Shadow" from Illusion of Gaia.
  7. Unreal Tournament (1999) had some of the best music I had ever heard and it still stands in terms of quality and originality compared to many other more modern games that have all gone towards the Hollywood movie sound (and sometimes they are even composed by big time moviecomposers.) This project will simply be a remix of the entire Unreal Tournament score, including bot-pack and any other official music. "Redeemed" is simple. Pick a track and remix it in any genre you wish. There are a few things to keep in mind but nothing excessive. 1. Your remix must reflect the original. (Duh.) 2. The remix must be at least 2 minutes and at most 8 minutes long. 3. Two tracks maximum per contributing artist. 4. Crossover remixes of multiple tracks are not allowed. 5. Collaborations on a single track are allowed and encouraged. - Burn7 has offered his guitarskills to anyone interested. 6. Samples from the games sound or music are not allowed. That's all really. Upload a WIP to mediafire or similair file storage site. You can also mail it directly to me. When you have completed your remix you can upload it to the public or not. Thats up to you. If you do upload it, provide a link to the the list of tracks where everyone elses work can be found. List of tracks found here (Check here to see which tracks have been taken, aswell as listening to the originals online.) Current participants and claimed songs: Lashmush (Lock, Ending) La-yinn (Run) Burn7 (Go Down) Reply here or PM me if you're interested. To claim a song, a WIP must be supplied and approved. (Standards are not rediculously high or anything.)
  8. http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/359987 Don't know if there are many fans of it here but nevertheless. Enjoy.
  9. well, its psychedelic trance so flanging and phasing around is to be expected. the song itself is finished. i sort of work with creating a song, asking for feedback and remembering it for the next thing. thanks alot though, i'll be sure to tone down the FX a little and be more varied for the next psy-project.
  10. i keep seeing a bunch of references to this project having been canceled and so on. what gives?
  11. thanks alot for the feedback! i'll see if i get to reworking some stuff in it, but I'm knee-deep in composing and lyric writing for the label right now. ;D
  12. Thanks. Contrastwork is where I shine so simple piano to intense symphony qualifies, I would say. ;D
  13. http://www.tindeck.com/listen/refn tindecked it for you. enjoy. ;D
  14. http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/358591 Requested by SubNormal J3 Remix of "Redial". Soft piano and an orchestral touch. Enjoy.
  15. Finished this just now. Psychedelic remix of the song "Lock" from Unreal Tournament (1999). Would love to hear your feedback and also wondering if this is original enough to submit to OCRemix for judging. http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/358119 Enjoy!
  16. nah, i submitted my Link's Awakening track "Lights Out" instead. More coherent and alot more original. My Hybrid songs are meant to be more medleys than remixes anyway. Heres the remix i submitted in case you're interested. http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/356186 It's the final battle track. All done by ear, no midi cheating. Then again, the original is quite simplistic with only one real rythm melody and some lead tweaks every now and then. ;D
  17. I still listen to it quite actively. It's evolved quite a bit from its roots like BOTTROP and such. Also, Enzyme Injection is pretty badass industrial stuff. Thanks alot though. ;D
  18. http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/357468 Remixed the Trashmen's song "Surfin' Bird" out of sheer impulse the other day. This is not meant to be a serious song. It's actually downright stupid. Enjoy.
