Yeah.... it sucks that he died, sorry to hear that. But he had absolutely nothing to do with the games, which this album is strictly about, so saying this would be a "tribute" is just all kinds of wrong.
That's right. The games only had an indirect influence on his work. The Pokemon games spawned everything else, but his work was all the best scripts of the anime. Nevertheless, it's a tragic death.
By the way, Damned, have the higher authorities replied to you about the release?
-
There are still SIX tracks open! Did any of you try pitching an ad throughout OverClocked asking for help? Isn't there anyone else who played Oracle of Seasons and would be interested in doing a remix for one of those tracks? And HylianLemon, who would you like to see make a claim?
-
After The Fabled Warriors Wind Volume, which albums get next priority before this? Even if I've never played the first 7 Pokemon games, I'm really excited based on what I heard from the preview track. I bet once I hear them, I'll be wishing another volume was in the works. I can't wait until at least February!
-
The tracklist will return when things are finished? Now I'm wondering if there will be more tracks than the 12 listed. With only 1 incomplete track, I couldn't draw any other conclusion. The tracks on the second preview are much easier to recognize. I'm not going to try to guess at how long the post-production will take.

I don't think I could be doing much better. The summer quarter ends in a week (I'm excited for this October), and I've been considering playing Wild ARMs again via forbidden purposes (My copy is scratched up), and I was starting to get chills in my gut from wondering what could've happened. I remember swearing I'd be here around Trancegiving, and I have no intention of backing out of such a vow. I'll be here September 26 to see how the repairs are coming along.

I'd like to know:
*How many ReMixers did you recruit? (no names)
*How many tracks are you planning? (don't list any)
*Is the progress being kept private (unlike those in the Projects forum?)
-
Another question that I've been wondering that's similar in nature is: What if someone uses ReMixes in open-source software that in no way involves money?
-
I'll be waiting for the Water chapter this winter! By the way, will it be either OCRA-0019 or OCRA-0020, will it be grouped with OCRA-0018, or will it have some other project codename?
-
ID3v2 tags?!
-
I have to commend the team of Threshold Of A Dream for getting so close to completion on that long-time project in progress. I support this project and everything that is being done to help this album reach that as well.
-
I wondered where each source tune was listed. I heard something about tags and comments, but I never found them. Where are they?
-
All the tags (in the comments) field have the source names.
I don't see any tags.
To richter: It sounds like you haaate this album!
-
man, it's not going to be out, like, tomorrow or something. i haven't even heard back from larry yet about anything, and we're still waiting on one wave (someone's out of town until wednesday at the earliest).
so just chill, and enjoy the project that just came out a week ago. that one needs its props, too, you know.
That's right. You said you were done here, not done period. If I had to wait until December for this project, I'd have no problem. As for the Fabled Warriors, I've never played Final Fantasy V, but the Water volume is scheduled for winter, and I'll be happy when that releases. Only problem is, I can't find the listings of the source material. If multi-volume albums are the newest trend, "OCRA-0030" should come surprisingly quickly.
-
It'll be Unbearable. And if the decades 195X-197X are your style, it'll be the best this album has to offer!
-
I noticed this is the 18th arrangement album. Will all 5 parts be classified as the 18th, or do they each get their own number in the OCRA series?
-
This is starting to make my skin crawl. Neither bLiNd nor JaDE have signed in since August 26.
UPDATE: I checked JaDE's user profile, and it says she's laid off again. Unless it's OLD'D, this means she's been absent to focus on a job search.
-
Weren't some of those claims supposed to turn Piiiink?
By the way, I was very satisfied with the 2nd preview track. I can't express my pleasure in seeing Matt Drouin on the project now that I know his ReMixing power.
-
I can still remember when I suggested this project would be released in '012, and you said you hoped it would be a lot sooner than that. I hate when I'm right!
-
I'd recommend:
The completed Frosty Frolics track (SNES)
The finished Water World track (SNES)
halc's Kremisphere/Krematoa track (SNES)
-
If all "Tentative" tracks get finished, that'll bring the total to 63 tracks, a far cry from the stigma some have against DKC3. Waiting for the next 6 wavs will be rather painful, because I'm one of those who likes DKC3 as much as the previous two.
-
In honor of this momentous occasion, I shall watch The Number 23 DVD tonight on my computer.
I can't STAND that movie! It had to be Jim Carrey's worst performance since November 2000.
-
For a month and a half, this project has sat in eerie silence. Production looks like it's been stagnant now for 2 months (progress list should be updated to prove otherwise).
That preview is so tantalizing... I sincerely hope this gets released in October.
-
I see a lot of piiiink off in the distance!
-
20 tracks completed. A whopping 6 away from JaDE's goal.
I've always wondered how some people manage to claim a track and submit a final WAV in a couple days while others take months.
Strader, I've read many passages describing such arguments, but in most of the cases, beer and whiskey caused it.
OCR02120 - Duke Nukem 3D "All Outta Gum"
in ReMix Reviews & Comments
Posted
All Outta Gum, eh? That sounds like something Nukem said at the beginning of the Raw Meat mission. Thus, In Hiding (Raw Meat) should be the source material for an All Outta Gum 2. If you do the remix, Mazedude, I'd be even more pleased to see a collaboration.
It's hard to believe that after 14.7 years since the release of Duke Nukem 3D and 11 years of OverClocked that this is the first Nukem 3D track in OC Remix's roster!
If the music is supposed to be better than those of DooM and DooM II combined, I'm surprised it took this long to get a track under this jurisdiction. Furthermore, Duke Nukem 3D probably should've already had an Arrangement Album.
