Thanks for the suggestions on my SOR remix. What is a good way to move something to the front of the mix without it affecting the other parts?

Yea this is what i'm realizing people have been saying. I thought I came across a way to get a uniform tone on both sides while keeping it wide (and getting a tight quad tracking)but now i'm wondering if left/right really is as tight as I thought it was.

I know you said you use real amps and mics mostly but if you have played around with Le Pou's stuff let me ask you this. In the last version I had on the forums I had three impulse reverbs loaded per guitar which was doubled to 6 each after widening. This would have an effect of 12 impulse reverbs, or 12 mics, being used once the second guitar was added. Would that be overkill in your opinion?

The worst part is when i'm humming or singing the tune right before an event comes on without realizing it. When crap gets repeated endlessly it messes with your head.

question about your drums. How did you get the different mic positions to go to seperate tracks in your daw? If I could get SSD to do that it would be great but I haven't been able to figure it out yet. Did were those drum samples you mentioned loaded in Kontakt?

you may have been right. I just boosted my guitars in sanctu by a good 6db each(recorded peaks were at -5 btw)and still didn't lose the synths.
