  1. A great reason for us to both love and hate the man for his awesome, yet sometimes strange, music.
  2. And people are already making a ton of progress on their remixes, too. I expected the other two projects here (SDB and SSF2, SSF2 in particular) to take off and be a lot more popular than this one... Quite frankly, I'm surprised, and glad that it's working out so well. I know I probably haven't said it enough, but thanks to everyone for really taking this project beyond what I expected. Interestingly enough, I started this project expecting the usual things to happen; a lot of people dropping out, flame war on page 30, arguments all over the place, drama, and all that stuff that usually comes along with projects. Incredibly, all of that has been almost non-existant, so we're all doing a great job.
  3. Almost 500 replies and 9000 views...What the heck?
  4. Interestingly, Unicorn was actually originally on the list of possible tracks before Martel's theme was. I guess I should've brought up the similarities before... Oh, and you probably noticed this, but Martel's theme isn't the last song anymore.
  5. Hale-Bopp is once again reading my mind. It definitely has that progressive sound, despite being symphonic. Hmmm...
  6. People need to get on the ball with this project (hahahaha, what a bad pun)! You know want to remix for this, folks. Don't leave Walan hanging!
  7. Quick heads-up: Project page has had quite a few updates! Go check out all the new stuff, and admire the Musician Profiles.
  8. UPDATE I'm working on profiles for everyone involved with the project, which will all eventually look something like that page (ignoring the broken images and links, of course. Those will be fixed). If you have one available, I'll need a picture of you, and I'll also need your real name, birthdate, current location, web site (if you have one), and where to find your other arrangements. The Biography section is optional, but strongly recommended. For those that have already done this in the PMs I've sent out, no need to worry about it here. Also, if you don't want to make this information public on this forum (I don't know why not; it's going to be on the site ) PM me with it. Thanks!
  9. *lol* Is it just me or are all those MIDI files running on hyper speed? I suppose I could respond to this, eh? They play fine for me. It's not a problem, Arcana. You're not the only person who hasn't started, if that makes you feel better.
  10. We'll see how the project progresses in the coming months. If we need people, we'll gladly allow you back in.
  11. It's not a problem. Things happen to come up, and sometimes they're uncontrollable. I went into this project with that in mind, so I'm well aware that people would run into more important things, and they wouldn't be able to finish. I'm perfectly fine with that, so don't let it get to you.
  12. Not a problem, Arek. It's still plenty early in the projects' lifespan, and hopefully it shouldn't be too much trouble to find anyone to pick up "Beat The Angel" with the time left. Thanks for letting us know!

  14. Haha, not quite THAT big...But it is possibly pretty damn big news.
  15. This has just brought to my attention something of importance...no one knows how to pronounce my screenname. And that, my friends, cannot go unattended. So pronounce it like you're saying the words "cladow shroud", except without the "r" or the second "d". Thar yar. Otherwise, cool. ~.C.S.~ First rule of radio show hosts: they can, and probably will slaughter most names.
  16. Ooooh. Well, in Rexy's case, it all makes sense!
  17. If anybody I talked to during the last check-in has made any progress and reads this (or if I haven't talked to you yet), please check in with me and update me on what you're doing. If I don't hear from you, you'll be on the list of people for round two check-ins. This will be a check for EVERYONE, not just a small group or a part of the list of those involved, like it was last time. That way I can even out the list and check with everyone each time it's check-in time. I know that probably made absolutely no sense, but I know what I said, so that's all that matters. There's also some potentially big big BIG news coming up, so stay tuned!
  18. I think maybe try doing something like this, since I always end up doing this anyway to almost anything I download: Song Title: Doom: The Dark Side of Phobos - Harmageddon Artist: EvilHorde So you end up with this: EvilHorde - Doom: The Dark Side of Phobos - Harmageddon. Just so it's easier to identify in peoples' playlists.
  19. Are you by any chance rubbler, my arch competitor? Haha, nope, I think I can confirm that. Rubbler plays guitar and does rock stuff.
  20. NEWS: Luiza has officially teamed up with CarboHydroM on the track "Fatalize". Rock on!
  21. I talk to Eric most every day. Currently trying to get him to stop procrastinating, . He has some ideas for the song, though. I'm still amazed nobody has stepped up and officially claimed a second song; a lot of people were talking about it before, but I didn't want to do anything before they made it official. Anyone? Anyone?
