  1. And now I seem to be working on something which seems to be something pseudo psychedelic rock-ish. I have no idea how I got there, and no, I'm sober (at least now)
  2. Wow, what a week, I didn't expect it to be so busy, well, it will be an interesting Sunday getting my mix together
  3. At first I wasn't sure how to combine this with my theme, but now I have an idea
  4. There's an esoteric programming language called ARNOLDC which has a speech synth of Arnold Schwarzenegger though
  5. Ahh man, I so wanted to have this one. Ok, let's see what shadow makes of it But I think I will take this to practice
  6. Ok, now I have to ask an unpleasant question. shadow and I haven't heard back from our third team member. I'm sure he has done something, but if, for whatever reason, he did not, what are we supposed to do? I have this training track, but since I did a mix last week, I don't suppose I could fill in.
  7. It's not my turn, but this time I started a mix too, because honestly, the theme intrigued me and I can use the practice. I'm so curious what the submitted remixes will be like
  8. This is awesome, I nearly spit my coffee over my laptop
  9. Yami Mind Flip~ (Cyber Peacock in Final Weapon [X4]) Sins of the Syndicate (Gravity Antonion in Final Weapon [X4]) Space Base (Shining Hotaronicus in Final Weapon [X4]) Dopplergangers
  10. For me Celestial Entrance was the only album that stuck, but I've not yet listened to Enigmatic: Calling
  11. Well, I chuckled. But be careful. If I ever get ready and decide to polish and submit this mix, I will take that title
  12. Ouch. No. I just had no better title idea, the acronym stands for nothing. But thank you all for not crapping on my mix. In the end it was pretty rushed because I had too much else to do. Concerning music I'm a pretty slow learner, so I know it still takes some time.
  13. Me too. And I'm slowly working to get my inspiration back. And of course I'm trying to get better at making music. Outside of OCR, well, I'm battling my depression which pretty much holds me back in everything I'm trying to do. It's a difficult process, especially getting back to programming in a serious way
  14. I did the exact opposite, I used the (slightly changed) rhythm with a modified bass progression from my theme.
  15. Ok, submitted. My process was: Ah, this theme sucks Well, I have a reasonable idea It might turn out pretty well Fuck that, this sucks, let's start over. This is gonna be awesome Well, at least it's less suckier than before
  16. Well, I'm pretty proud of what I've done until now. The arrangement still needs some work (it's still a bit short) but I think productionwise I learned a lot last week and used it.
  17. Yami - Dopplergangers Caffeine Shoveling Hunter Turtloids (Rainy Turtloid in X-Hunter Stage 1 [X2]) (Don't Wanna) Hurt You (Gravity Beetle in X-Hunter Stage 1 [X2]) X's Demise (Spark Mandrill in X-Hunter Stage 1 [X2])
  18. I have a rough idea and about 50 seconds of a trancey track. Yeah, back to the genre I mostly want to do
  19. This sometimes happens to me but the other way around. If I have a problem with my code, I make music and very often I find a solution. Unfortunately inspiration is a fickle thing. If you can't find some by listening to music then try to take a short walk, listen to nature (if it's possible) and just let your mind flow.
  20. At least it's better than knowing enough to figure some things out, but being confused as soon as things don't go the way they're "supposed to go"
  21. You would? But thank you all for the discussion, I had a rough time finding these things out, it helped me a lot
