  1. Yeah, me too. If it's any consolation, there's an archived version of the page here (only one, sadly) with some of his tunes which are no longer on the site. It's not much, but it might give you a clue on what you should google for.
  2. Love the tunes this guy dishes out. The rest of his remixes can be found here. He used to have more, but I have no idea what happened to them. Anyway, Shadow's Blues (remix of Shadow's theme from FF6) is one of my favourites. The mood of the tune is so different from the original one. And his rendition of Santo Domingo (from Killer7) is not bad (smoother than the original, IMO).
  3. *digs it up* In case anyone still cares, the game is finally out! http://www.piersolar.com/
  4. 100 Bullets kicks ass. Also, French, Belgian and Dutch comics are quite good, if you can get your hands on them. To name a few: The Scorpion, XIII, Blake and Mortimer, De Cape et de Crocs / Cloak and fangs. And one of my childhood favourites (had a few copies somewhere, but they seem to be lost :\), a British comic called Steel Claw.
  5. Sorry, but no. I found an mp3 version of the tune in MaSu's archives. However, now that you mention it, I'd like to check it out on YouTube. Any chance of posting a link? Back on topic. Martin O'Donnell & Michael Salvatori - Prologue (Myth: The Fallen Lords) Loved the story, but never managed to get past the third or fourth mission.
  6. Thank you KyleCrb! But our Toad is in another castle! Sorry, couldn't resist.
  7. You could also try (if all else fails) searching for *.doc (if the original file is in that particular format), while limiting your search to files created in the past few days (or whenever the missing file was created).
  8. It wasn't a game, but a combination of Megadriver, Virt and Google. I was looking for remixes, and then stumbled upon OCR. The first song I downloaded from the site was AkumaJoBelmont's remix of Ruy's song (quickly followed by Sixto's remix of Ken's song).
  9. Which file are you trying to recover? The original one or the modified one? If your friend kept pressing ctrl+s, then the saved version would have to have gone somewhere (IIRC, the default folder should be My Documents; failing that, you could always search for that file by pressing winkey and f). If you're trying to recover the original version, just check the same mail she got the attachment from.
  10. Is that the one for XBox 360 with gameplay similar to Super Metroid? I've only played the demo, but it seemed to be fun.
  11. Another Future Shock lover here. Maybe it's just me, but I kept wondering how this would sound if it had some Dio-like vocals.
  12. Got stuck in Baldur's Gate after clearing and flooding a mine. I walked out the same way I came in, instead of just walking to a teleport (in my defense, I never saw the damned thing, and if it hadn't been for a walkthrough, I would've never known about it). The dwarves flooded the mines, and next thing I know, I'm locked out of Baldur's Gate (the city). City gates were down, and there was no (regular) way of getting in. And I've been saving my game in a single slot. So... Uhm... Yeah. Then there's that bug in XBox 360 version of Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands. A friend of mine fell a long way down after failing to grab on to a ledge (he was out of those rewind thingies), and the game's autosave feature kicked in. The game reloads from the last save, only to have him stuck in an area he had cleared quite some time ago, with all the gates / exits locked. Had it been me, I would've stopped playing the game, but he decided to restart it completely.
  13. Can anyone recommend a MIDI sequencing / editing software which would work on an old PC (PII 750 mHz, 128 RAM)? It really doesn't matter how old the software is. I've looked here, but I thought I'd ask for your recommendation.
  14. I think he's talking Be Kind, Rewind style which would probably be extremely entertaining XD Mega64 already did a sweeded type of thing.. in public, obviously. Good stuff. Yup, that's the one. Could be very fun, if done properly. An example can be found here.
  15. Crystal King - 大都会 / Metropolis Found a few of their songs on grooveshark.com.
  16. Would making sweeded videos about it count as being related to the game?
  17. First thing that came to mind after reading this was that Mongolian throat singing. Amazing stuff.
  18. Wow, this is excellent! Any idea on how long they'll be playing?
  19. *dusts off thread* Two of my favourites from this game are: Is anyone interested in doing a remix of either one of these two tunes? Oh, and if you're interested in other tracks from the game, you can find them here: http://project2612.org/details.php?id=256
