  1. Do a YouTube search of MST3K (Santa Claus conquers the Martians, Hired!, Body Care and Grooming and the like), and all will be revealed.
  2. Sounds like something from one of Alex Kidd games, though I could be wrong. Where did the other tunes come from? The ones you've identified, I mean. Maybe these two are from the same composer(s), from the same game/games or from the same consoles.
  3. Sbeast64 - Walking the Plank (DK Country Gangplank Galleon remix) or here http://www.sbeast64.com/music.html Never expected DKC music to have guitar potential.
  4. Started playing an old SNES RPG, Dark Law: The Meaining of Death a while back. There are some good stories in it, and that whole job thing is interesting, but I really, really hate it how you get money by leveling up and how you're stuck to one town and a cave.
  5. Found this: Not a remix, but a cover of Treasure in an Old Castle. I wonder if it would be possible to expand the original song (well) beyond 1:08, and still keep the original feel of it.
  6. This. Thank you! I've loved that main hall theme before I've even had the chance to play the original game. This is just me, but the vibe I get from The Search Begins is that of a great castle's glory gone by. I half expected the mood to go more sinister after 01:30 (and some vocals around 02:00 and beyond, just simple choir aaahs and ooohs), but, again, that's just me.
  7. I'll see your kid, and raise you this one. Back on topic. Uruguay vs Germany would've made a better final. And regarding that handplay from Suarez in their match against Ghana - football should have something similar to goaltending in basketball. You stop the ball going into the net by using your hands / arms, the opposition gets their goal, and you get a red card.
  8. According to the octopus, Germany is going to knock Argentina out of the WC.
  9. My guess is that the OP is tributing Nintendo in general. @mikurotoro King of Dragons (Cave of Hydra, Treasure in an Old Castle, The Orc Village) and Super Soccer (Germany, Intro, Penalty Shootout - a medly of some sorts, since they're all short). Sure, they're not well known like Mega man, Zelda, Mario, Final Fantasy or Metroid games (nor would doing them be a real tribute to Nintendo, TBH), but what the heck.
  10. Was the game for PC or one of the consoles? In any case, take a look here, maybe you'll find what you're looking for.
  11. Nigeria vs South Korea has to be one of the most interesting games so far. So many chances and good tries, it's a pity that one of them will have to go home after this match. Would've been very interesting to see them both in the second round.
  12. @Andrew Evenstar You could try using Tunatic. It's a programme which can identify the performer and song by "listening" to a part of the tune. Not sure that it'll work if this is a remix, though.
  13. Human BBQ - Shadow's Blues (Final Fantasy 3/6) Not a bad tune. Pretty upbeat and quite unlike the original (mood-wise).
  14. I hope Australia beats Ghana today. It would keep things interesting in group D. Not that they're not interesting as it is, with Serbia beating Germany (another one of their games with hand play in the box. Anyone expecting the same in their third match?) and all that. As far as France and England are concerned... Son, I am disappoint. And vuvuzelas? Jeez... No, wait, what about a remix with vuvuzelas in it? No, seriously.
  15. Something like this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WtGb-Rqstxk Or this?
  16. Does the remix you're looking for have any singing? If so, this could be it: http://sites.google.com/site/darlantandragonavenger/ (CTRL + F, and look for " the other side of the mountain") Incidentally, the remixer (DragonAvenger) is here on OCR, but the remix in question is not.
  17. Hey, folks. Long time lurker, first time poster (with a request, no less ). I really like listening to this game's OST, especially Orc Village, Cave of Hydra and Treasure in an Old Castle. I'd love to hear them in a rock, jazzy or orchestral arrangement. Or, failing that, any arrangement you (the potential remixer) prefer. You can find the complete soundtrack here: http://snesmusic.org/v2/profile.php?profile=set&selected=1409 Or, if you just want to hear the tunes I'd like to hear remixed, you can visit these links: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G6yqFCGUCNg (Cave of Hydra) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7VOad85bel4 (Orc Village) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vOdUqZ9jX08 (Treasure in an Old Castle) Thanks!
