  1. I hate it when he reviews these games because nobody buys them for the campaign. I don't want to hear critique for the campaign, because who cares. That said, a friend gifted me MW3, and the multiplayer is... adequate. One thing I'm having a hard time getting used to is how fast you die. All the emphasis is on reaction time. The graphics are very good, but the palette feels extremely dark, giving it a strange cartoon-like atmosphere because real life has more contrast. The maps are also far less interesting than MW2's.
  2. I... buh-but... you just released Imposter Nostalgia like a few weeks ago! And because of Imposter, I must buy this. My wallet hates you -- my ears don't.
  3. I did this last year. I'll do it again I don't remember if I ever got anything last year though......
  4. Specs won't be a problem, trust me. I just want the bugs to be very, very minimal. Looks promising too.. I'll give it a shot!
  5. Anyone else playing this on Dolphin? I'm going to give that a shot and wondering if anyone here has gotten it to work well. P.S. Yes-I-will-still-buy-the-game.
  6. Well, I wouldn't say no to a voice acted Zelda installment. I'll give you that much. Despite the strong possibility of them fudging it up, it would be really awesome if they pulled it off.
  7. The reason is a choice of style. Just because you can do something doesn't mean you have to. There's no limit to me going out and stabbing someone tonight, but I won't do it. Similarly, adding voice acting to Zelda would be like stabbing the franchise in the face repeatedly.
  8. Exactly what I hoped for. Maybe Nintendo took cues from Wall-E
  9. I, uh... think I messed up my sentence syntax. Or something. So my answer is yes?
  10. Just take it as comedy aimed at junior high kids that happens to have nice music.
  11. 5 minutes PAUSE! Whatever you think of smosh, forget it and watch their new video complete with chip-rap and dub-rap in one song. I'm really just excited about the song, to clarify.. the lyrics are a little high school But he does have a damn nice Link cosplay. It's sort of good!
  12. Natural Environments is a good one. The graphics are super dated now and that helps. Unofficial Oblivion Patch fixes thousands of bugs. DarNified UI makes the UI a lot better. Immersive Interiors is amazing, letting you see out windows when indoors, but not all the cities are done. Reneers Guard Overhaul makes the guards act like they should, but some people complain about CTDs.
  13. they had that same sale before, and I bought it then For the love of god, don't play Oblivion without proper modding.
  14. Only once when I was younger.. and my mom saw me and since she's an M.D. she told me to never do that again or I'll probably die of several diseases. So I never ate snow again. That bear is probably dead.
  15. Polar bears don't eat snow. They hardly need any water to survive. The bear pictured was probably super bored.
  16. I added a request to allow snow to be collected and then boiled as drinking water. Granted.. in medieval times I don't think people knew about germs. Oh well, my character will be smarter than everyone >.>
  17. This total realism mod is what will make me buy this game. The Fallout 3 one was pretty good, but I could never take FO3 seriously with all that retro-futurism humor. I can take Skyrim seriously. (Brandon, he's considering making headshots lethal, but he'd probably make them lethal for YOUR character too )
  18. Or, we could just mod it. Make dragons much harder.
  19. Really glad I bought a 6-core for nothing -.-
  20. 2 cores? So my 6-core won't do jack for me? Now hold on.. in recommended specs, they recommend a 4-core CPU. Why?
  21. It made two of you cry? I HAVE to play this game now. Only one game ever made me cry, and I can't figure out why it did. And I won't share what that was >_> But yeah, time to go find Mother 3.
  22. Guys, I miss this contest. Someone resuscitate it
  23. I didn't vote for this guy. But if he likes chiptunes, I did vote for this guy. Grats!
  24. Eeh.. I found Bioshock 1 to be pleasingly disturbing but unbearably suspenseful. I was so bummed that I wussed out because the atmosphere and story were really drawing me in. Also, Dorrie from SM64 scared the crap out of when I was 9. Just sayin'. I'd like to second the notion about Skies of Arcadia being light-hearted fun. It has many serious moments but it really knows how to keep things optimistic instead of trying to bum you out all the time- LOOKING AT YOU, FF.
  25. That game is so weird. The bits of story I remember from it give me strange, tentacle-filled dreams.
