  1. Really? I looked up gameplay of that before. It's in third person (boo!) and heard it's really short too. Only 99 cents tho... Hah, I forgot that many people here have made music for iOS games. Problem is, I bought Angry Birds and got very bored. Yes, it's challenging, but games that revolve around a single element (casual games) just don't grab me. I tried Cut the Rope too and again felt bored :[
  2. If there's already a thread on this, delete mine. So anyway, I recognize the iPhone/iPad as promising gaming platforms, but I couldn't get into it until I upgraded to a 3GS, which I finally did. So what... what... uh, shit... what do I buy? I got Infinity Blade 2 because it seems the obvious choice. I already have FF3 (DS remake port) and it finally runs smooth thanks to my upgrade. For anyone wondering, those are both very good choices IMO. So I'm digging deeper but all the hardcore games I find are put out by Square Enix and they're all like $15. I don't want to make the wrong choices. I don't want "eh, pretty good" either. I want damn good. I like unique battle systems, good sound effects, non-linearity, a good story, the whole she-bang. Should I get Chaos Rings? Song Summoner? Would the Secret of Mana port be fun after all this time? I don't trust the reviews in the store cause they're mostly Square fanboys. All the games are rated 4 or more stars, and that's bullshit. A $6 FF13 app that only shows twenty still images has 4 stars. o_o
  3. People heeding stigma are people we don't need in the game anyway. If a game is good, it's good. If it's not it's not. It's just a completely non-nonsensical way to think, to write off a game because it was bad before a massive overhaul. I give consumers a little more benefit of the doubt, personally. If it truly makes itself as good as FFXI was or better, word will get out and it'll take off.
  4. I hated those guys! Back when you could kill people with trains by warping out (I was BLM), I would player kill suspected gilsellers. I say suspected because I think some of them were just normal players. Oops? >.>
  5. King Ranperre's Tomb was my personal camping ground. Tree Cuttings were a pain to farm, especially since they were so easily accessible and random travelers would kill the spawns before I could reach them. I never hung out much in Zi' Tah. I always felt too endangered there, but that area had the best background music in the entire game. Nerd level is 95% in this thread BTW.
  6. My only fond memory of goobbues is killing them for tree cuttings, and that was torture (8.3% drop rate). I hate goobbues, no sale!
  7. Uh no. You're asking him to base value on something solely for its novelty. Execution matters too, and being able to perceive good or bad execution is a measurement of taste as well.
  8. They think they're legitimate because they don't allow porn torrents. They're also morally retarded.
  9. dear god, this is excellent. I'm guessing you use a lot of Massive? Why does everyone on this site have to make me feel terrible with their uberness :[
  10. Now if only we could get workshop advice in the originals forum... for those of cursed with preferring to make originals.
  11. Modus

is your name based of Dyne from SoA?

  12. WOOD ELVES UNITE We're not ugly, like Argonians.
  13. I thought Rozo was already a workshop mod >_> I see him there so often. Congrats.
  14. I haven't submitted yet, or plan to for several more months but... 1. OCR is a great platform from which to get noticed. The quality standard the judges maintain make it a real honor to be posted here. 2. Motivation to continue improving, validation (if i were posted, I'd start telling people in real life that I have this hobby), OCR is a consistent source of specific and helpful feedback, the divine superpowers granted to accepted remixers
  15. I hate that I keep recognizing 8bitmagicalplugin everywhere >_> That said, this was pumping.. definitely going in the gym playlist. You're not afraid to really push those high frequencies and it somehow still sounds good. Toward the end on a couple parts it pushed on grating for me, but nothing that broke the song. Swag. P.S. Are you working on any calmer things on the side? I'm all about dub and electro, but I miss classic halc a bit
  16. I look forward to your boob signature every day

  17. This looks really good. One of my biggest gripes with FL is that it's butt ugly. This is one clean motherfu:!:
  18. Of course I meant abs. Or.. ab-DOUGH-mins, as they are right now. AHA HAHA HA
  19. That's the only Rare game I've never beaten. I got close but... good luck! My resolutions are get six-pack and make some college friends. Tired of my downer-y high school friends
  20. Well it definitely wasn't meant as a slight, but if you want to take it that way..
  21. Successful exploit of popular thing is success! but of course it's well-deserved Hopefully that replaces the M/ Bison YES memecrap.
  22. You're onto something about "not grasping limitations". Honestly it just feels like I lack the discipline to stick with a source. I stumble onto so many random cool mistakes that I feel like I have no choice but to wander. And yes, I also enjoy not feeling the pressure of butchering a source or living up to its reputation. I just adore freedom. And making my weird experiments. Sometimes I'm so amused by how far I wander. Like here, an example.. Source: Result: This year-old dancey ravey song?? At least the guitar riff is still obvious >.> And today.. Source: Result: what is this I don't even?
  23. I love that gating or whatever that stutter is on the vocals XD I approve of this. I like it. It's fun.
