Hey fellow fighting game players: I have failed you and forgot a small-size SD card. Would someone (GT, Bahamut, zircon?) please bring along a 2 GB SD card with Project M's hackless version installed on it? We need to throw down on the best version of Smash if at all possible, in addition to our usual Street Fighter antics.
I can bring brawl if that's what you mean by smash.

Do you mean in terms of how well the music will be recieved? because if so, i think its just a crapshoot with alot of variables involved.
BUT, in favor of it anyways, if you remix a soundtrack for something thats not done before, 1. thats super cool because its unexplored musical territory and 2. guaranteed, someday, somewhere, youll make at least ONE persons day because you remixed a song from a game they loved.

I'm going to wait to post what I received until I get everything, but I am absolutely loving the format of my gift's delivery, and am probably going to rip it off for next year because it's an awesome way to prolong looking forward to getting stuff.

what are your thoughts on the effectiveness of setting goals based around new years? my roommate is a total elitist about it in that he thinks you should " just do" whatever thing you want to get done whenever you think of it. while this works for a small number of people, the majority of us need to write down our goals in order to persue them. The most amusing part is that he himself never sets, nor attains goals.

I have so many resolutions that its just an overview of my goals for the year. i kindof enjoy using resolutions as an excuse to make goals for the whole year, so that i feel like im not wasting my time at a leisurely pace. some highlights though:
1. I won 4 prc rounds this year, exceeding my goal of 3, so i want to win 5 next year!
2. beat another posted remixer in direct competition.
3. Take violin lessons
4. Learn how to Use the mic that santa left in my room.
5. find 5 recipes to cook that are cheap/healthy
6. Start work on an EP i had an idea for.
7. Join a local photography guild so i can really spice up my photography.

The winner of this round gets to pick the source of PRC262, not PRC261. The reason is that I want to have PRC261 started directly after this round. PRC262 will be a double source PRC.
the magfest PRC round! i may or may not submit something half assed that week. itd be a fun challenge.
as for the round, im excited to see all these entries! with two weeks to work, Im bringing my A-game, so i hope everyone else does!

I look forward to getting in on this next year. i just couldnt quite nail down that winter vibe. Hopefully next year ill be a tad bit more in tune with my process and it might be easier to make something nice and wintery.

esperado wanted me to pick in his stead as he couldn't think of anything and didn't wish to hold up the compo any longer. I've decided to make the compo 2 weeks longer than normal due to it being the Christmas season
its funny, i was at work when i thought of a bunch of games that i kept overlooking whenever looking for track suggestions in compos. You did good with this one though.

I just saw these on a sidebar ad and it makes me wonder if anyone has used these things?
The reviews look nice on them and the concept is clever. I might try them out next time i have a concert to go to. seems relevant to the interests of people here, given that many of us require good ears to keep making music. Shame i didnt notice them soon enough to get some for MAG.
