I won't be getting the game because I don't have a 3DS. Poop. But it looks like a lot of fun.
My friend got it and I'm planning to steal her 3DS for 10 minutes just to see how it works.

Ok so I've already got like 3 or 4 other remix projects I'm currently working on, but uh... heck yes I'll do this.
Can I claim something? You can hear some of my stuff in my Soundcloud link. I am much more electronic but I can get in orchestral stuff. I won't be able to send in anything for at the least the next 2-3 weeks though.
Not sure if I read through the guidelines hard enough. If I screwed something up here, then oops.

Yes I can.
I happen to be able to manage 5 projects at a time. As long as I just know how to manage my time.

I'm going to be busy and out of town for the next 2 weeks. Therefore, I'm not sure I can get anything to you for another 3 weeks. I can try earlier than that, but I doubt it will happen.
And by the way, you can put my name down for claimed WIP on the original post, unless I haven't noticed and you did. Not important. Just thought I'd let you know.

Ok this is what I've come to the conclusion of.
I would love to be a part of this. Seriously. But I am going to be really busy for the next couple of weeks.
If you could give me 3-ish weeks I can return and contribute.

Sonic Unleashed was a fine game that got trashed for no reason. The hatred from 2006's ran deep it seems.
Well the hatred for '06 was understandable. That is considerably one of the worst games of modern gaming.
Sonic Generations actually was pretty good. They stayed true to the Classic Sonic stuff even though it was transported to the 3D realm. It actually was a really great idea and they managed to make it work. Playing Green Hill Zone with Classic Sonic made me happy because, mechanically, they tried super hard to make it feel the same way the original Sonic 1 felt. And I think they did a great job. And the graphics are gorgeous.
But the cutscenes in that game are so unbelievably painful to watch they are so embarrassing. Maybe it's just me. But I think they're pretty awful.

What's the schedule with this project? Are there any deadline dates or plans to evaluate this any time soon?
Deadline is May 1st, I believe.

I did a rather chiptuney remix of it for remixing with the stars that I can rework (and I mean significantly rework) if you'd like. It was also written thematically (as in with a story behind it) if that appeals to you further.
If g-mixer would rather take it that's fine by me Though.
I'll most certainly take it, if I have time. I think I will, because I just got done with one project, and I'm taking a break from another since the next deadline isn't in a while, and I have the Sonic CD project 50% deadline nearly done, so I believe I'll have time, now that I think about it. Give me a couple more days, and I think I may be able to claim it.
So deadline is May 1st? Should we have other minor deadlines in place for like 50% done and nearly done or whatever? Just throwin' that idea out there.

I'm so excited
Okay, hopefully I'll have more news soon, but I see this as a brilliant opportunity (IF we get our asses in gear).
We currently have almost a dozen remixes at various stages of completion. Out of those I'd say only 2 or 3 require more work, the others just require a little fine tuning.
So I'm setting the final deadline for track as May. I've already spoken to at least 6 people, I'll contact a few more over the following weeks to check your good with that.
I've also submitted what we have to OCR to see if they're likely to bite or not. Turnaround time isn't guaranteed, neither is the fact we'll become an official OCR album, but I'd love to attempt to co-ordinate this release around the same time as the HD Wind Waker release.
So, to repeat, final WIP deadline: '1st MAY'
I'm still up for Dragon Roost, but keep it open because I'm not quite sure I can make it yet. I would love to, though.

Hey dude! I would love to help, but I have numerous other projects I have to work on. BUT, I am most certainly willing to contribute if you need more than one composer.
What I would like to ask, Mofat, is what capture card/PVR are you using and how much is it? Been thinking about getting one to record game footage, but not entirely sure what I should get. My LP friend (and personal friend...blinkkandumissit? HerrinPlays?... unless you're a big part of the LP community you probably don't know who that is) has an HD PVR but I don't know if there are cheaper ones that work well too.

Oh my gosh I would die laughing of a remix of the Giant Pile of Poo or whatever that guy was. Dude that boss is what sold me. I ended up enjoying that game so much because of that one boss. I think I was on the floor laughing when I watched that boss fight.

I've never cried during a game (I hardly cry with anything), but I think the stuff that makes me really sad or frustrated is when there's like some romantic relationship and then they have to part and then they never see each other again or something.
I don't know. Something like that. I don't like that.
