On other hand, it makes it practically impossible to 4v5, while in HoN a player dropping is often not an automatic death sentence.

Sounds like that's part of the design to make it harder to steamroll, along with the fast respawn and regenerating inhibitors. If you wanna hard carry, play HoN with us again.

How well a mechanic works has nothing to do with whether or not the mechanic is dumb bullshit. The only justification for denying is that removing it makes the laning phase boring - but from a design perspective, that doesn't justify denying so much as it makes it clear how mechanically broken the concept of the 'laning phase' actually is.
I'm excited for Dominion in LoL for that very reason.

Except you can't teleport between them, which is a huge aspect of Tremble. I didn't really see Spiderlings as being equivalent since they're temporary and don't have a snare, more like FA's skeletons, but I guess they serve essentially the same function.
ANYWAYS nobody said we can't ever play HoN again if we like the S2 heroes.

Eh I think burrow and the pet would be considered the key elements of Tremble gameplay, neither of which came from Broodmother.
