Pikmin 3 does look pretty polished and I remember being impressed with it when the first gameplay trailers were shown, so I'll agree with you there.

Yeah I kinda wish Nintendo would put more effort (and probably budget) into their games, and generally make better games. Maybe they'd even get more sales. They've been playing it safe for too long. I saw an interview that said they were going to try to make a new franchise, if they pull that off without making it too simple, it could be good.

My brother in law and some other people got it, but I couldn't get through, and a lot of people abused it and ordered like 50 copies so it got caught sooner than it should have...

Steam's summer sale started a little after 1pm EST today. I want Rogue Legacy, so I'm waiting for a decent sale on that. Share your recommendations of sale items for people who may not know about them. I'll start. This game is 40% off, and it is pretty awesome. It's an environment survival game with a beautiful art style, pig men, manure, crafting tools, researching prototypes and basically trying not to starve. You'll collect resources from a lot of bushes, trees, rocks, etc and try to survive as long as you can. Counter-Strike! I was skeptical this would be as good as the previous Counter-Strike games (specifically the original CS) but it's pretty good. The community is pretty terrible, but hey, give a gamer a microphone and an opportunity and you're gonna be searching for that mute button. Luckily, it's easy enough to mute people, and the game itself is a ton of fun. The cool people who are hilarious make up for any bad people who come across the mic. Game of the Year, but you can get it for $24 on www.greenmangaming.com Save your money and buy from GMG! I'll just say it's very quirky, and worth the $2.50

We need a server for this. Only 4 players at a time though right. My one gripe is that the enemies are super overpowered when you're starting out. Usually when you start a game they have some small designated area where you can grind for a bit so you don't get destroyed by everything... Dodging doesn't work so well to avoid damage and there's no blocking. And killing enemies at level 1 gives you 1 to 3 exp...

Doesn't PS3 already have the timed demos?

It's not that a remaster wasn't needed, it's that Square-Enix didn't do nearly as good of a job with a remaster as they should have, making this basically just look like an upscaled PS2 game (which is what it is).
