Just finally got home from MAGFest. Yeah, if you need both of my wips by the first, I'm going to have to drop. I've got tracks to do for other people that I've had on my list for months. Sorry. Having said that, these are mixes I was planning to do anyway, so they'll still be made either way.

I think Devastus was on for that, but then his pipes broke and he had to move out for a while. Since it was from the remakes and not the ORIGINAL NES ff1, I felt it was ok to not rush out a cover of it... We did cover every NES theme and SEVERAL remake/MSX/GBA/PSX what have you themes.. Izkemia even substantially covered the Save Music and other bits and pieces, and their cohesive medley passed the panel, so we're very happy about that. Quick notes: +Q1 2012, specifically anywhere from Feb to April +Gave the album to Nobuo Uematsu. He smiled, bowed, and said thank you! +OCR pimped ff1 and ff2 at the panel! -Didn't get anything signed by Uematsu. :'(

My Dovahkiin OC ReMix has a lot of views on youtube This link alone has 244,372 views and a link back to OCR. Hopefully people have come to OCR as a result. This has gained almost 100k views within about a week. For comparison my original DoD entry version I uploaded 5 months ago has 32,209 views and OCR's new improved final version uploaded a couple months ago has 14,574

I like remixes to be completely recognizable to the source, gotta be able to hear it in there. That's the whole point. But I also think that if you want to hear the original, you can listen to the original. Make it totally recognizable but add your own flair to it.

Ok, 2012 is off to an amazing start already. OCR panel had Final Fantasy 1 and 2 albums on the list, most people probably haven't even heard of those because they weren't "OCR Official albums" but it was really cool to see them listed there! I gave Nobuo Uematsu a copy of the FF1 album in person as the band walked past me to enter their soundcheck area. It was amazing. Also djp said FF1 is coming out Q1 2012! So if you never heard of it, now you done did. Also I found out that Larry doesn't hate me I don't know if threads like this will be a yearly tradition, but there's a lot of great stuff coming up in 2012.

So like I don't think it's a secret but this is coming late January and it's amazing and Jose made a sweet trailer, which is also amazing Whoever made the "Conte par tiro" sounding orchestration, you're cool xD
