  1. Yeah, we had one of those long lobby drops too in the elevator. And it was stuffed so tight I felt like this But everyone almost broke into applause when we went straight down, it was a very epic experience I also lost my badge on Saturday night.
  2. WHAT THE ! I didn't know you were recording this! That's AWESOME! That live performance completely took me by surprise too. I especially liked Vinnie's performance! Hehe. Did they record a video of the OCR panel? o.o edit: I love Larry's enthusiasm XD!!
  3. Dude that was you? I had no idea! I jokingly said "someone's about to steal that" on the way up the escalator. I thought you were some random non-OCR person or else I would have like, introduced myself, and stuff. Yeah that kinda pissed me off too. I was like, yay! I'm in line for a badge at 2:30pm that gives me plenty of time to catch Josh Whelchel's panel at 5pm. Boy was I wrong.
  4. Another highlight for me was right when we were all saying goodbye, looking back on that I could friggin cry. XD But the man djp sang a Teen Agent riff and said that stuff gets stuck in your head, and I was blown away. I'm still not sure if that really happened or if I dreamed it.
  5. It doesn't help that nobody had my number. XD I went to bed at 6pm on Sat cause I knew we were making the drive home on Sunday!
  6. Oh you know it, I'll be there too, and I may drink unlike this time.. I didn't know there was a drinking party going on. Josh had one too. I missed both of them? Pretty lame. The one time I decide to sleep....
  7. We totally played "The Last Schala Mix Evar" at Jamspace. :-)

  8. There's no way I could recount all the amazing things that happened, but I'm still overwhelmed with how awesome it was and I'm home now. XD Didn't get to jam long with Obtuse, but the couple of songs we played -- including a Schala's theme arrangement I'd learned previously on guitar -- was fantastic, I loved playing live with people, seeing Cyril perform 3 or 4 times plus blowing out his voice. Jamming with Kunal Majmudar on drums may have taken the cake, just because he was so amazing on drums that I almost stopped playing and just watched him in awe. The OCR panel was sweet! I was super tired by that point but it was SO entertaining, they started up with a live performance with Level 99 guitar, Cyril bass, OA guitar, diotrans violin -- I'm sorry if I forgot anyone there. Then the panel showing released albums, upcoming albums including a particularly awesome new preview trailer for Heroes vs. Villains (02.2011)... talking about upcoming features in v4 like Blogs and more, hurrah! The list of upcoming albums took up TWO COLUMNS! The super charismatic Larry threw Dear Friends shirts throughout the panel, and generally kept everyone entertained and/or in constant fear with his booming vocals. Very nice guy! OCAD panel was lame. Hahah I kid. But on a serious note, I'm looking forward to that audio recording and video they made. It was a little hard to hear them at the panel! Brushfire's Ash Pimp costume. I'm really happy that I met DarkeSword and Bahamut and Zircon, a few guys I kinda didn't get along with in the past, they're actually very cool and friendly guys and I'm extremely happy to have met them there for what brief time it was! I regret not having my Return All Robots soundtrack with me whenever I saw zirc though, would have liked to get it autographed. I got an autographed Super Meat Boy soundtrack from Danny B I'm really just saying random things at this point, I wasn't planning to and there's a LOAD of things that were awesome that I probably didn't mention, like getting hugged by a drunken Jade! That was definitely the highlight of the DoD listening party -- that and Snappleman's incredible ninja turtle drawing on Pictochat.. if you were there, you know what I'm sayin. Some real artists on that thing! I wanna go get some lunch so I'm just going to end with, everyone else I met is just as awesome or more awesome than I had remembered them OR than I expected as I hadn't met them yet. Just remembered, meeting OA and Deia was awesome! Deia had the neatest Duck Tal--err I mean Lucca from Chrono Trigger costume, and OA checked out and complimented my cheap little Ibanez S7320
  9. I think the main thing was that there weren't enough elevators I got touched in ways I wasn't comfortable with due to over-crowding ALSO AHHHHH MAGFEST IT WAS AWESOME edit: Also, Doug! We listened to Medicine Lake on the way to my place, in the car, and I really dug it!
  10. Obtuse says he's like 30 minutes away but it's very snowy. It's friggin 2:30am. That guy is a night-drivin' beast.
  11. It di-di-did?? That almost makes up for the DKC3 mix getting no'd yesterday. I am getting to the point where each song is becoming a chapter. I'm glad the Mistaken Love chapter has finally ended, hehe... and with the brand new library I just recently snatched, I should be able to make a more impressive Passing Sorrow Sweet updates my man. I will has to get you to tell me how my other mixes are faring on the panel. Also would love to hear your Lifa tree WIP
  12. I bumped it because it's time for Square to be announcing new products soon, such as what the heck Type-0 is and other products they have planned. Maybe they'll finally announce the remake they've been working on. :-/ And yes, if you look past the gratuitous sci-fi elements that your underdeveloped brain requires in a video game, FF8 is the most realistic of the series
  13. As if anyone is truly surprised by your outrageous british-ness in dropping the track
  14. The news is appreciate and the artwork is BADASS. This is awesome.
  15. If the announcement of a remake doesn't drop this year, at E3 or whatnot, or the upcoming Square announcements.... I will eat a shoe. Not talking about the FF4 PSP remake, talkin about ff7 or ff8...
  16. It's troo, my conversations with emunator on AIM are littered with racial slurs
