Hi. One last E3 thread, which is a compendium of the games announced and to be released in the coming months. Rather than post this in any particular company thread (Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo) it is instead posted separately because it features games FOR ALL PLATFORMS from various companies. Enjoy. Also, feel free to hate here if the mods allow it but try to keep the inter-console hate in the other threads to a minimum. A lot of things could be improved by using a slot loader instead, for example, a toaster. I had a slot-loading toaster that broke and had to be replaced.
-
We'll see. The last thing scheduled for E3 is "Unannounced Ps3 Demo" or something. If that's the FF7 remake then I'll hold off on installing the original now.
-
You're not supposed to kick Kinect either. From what I've seen of demonstrations, you stand like.. 5+ feet away from it, not on top of it. Milo is an exception but it doesn't involve kicking (sadly).

Sonic the Hedgehog: The Sound of Speed - History
Brandon Strader replied to halc's topic in Projects
Oh don't worry, I know. I'm still waiting to hear anything about Teen Agent. I haven't heard anything for 3 months. I'm guessing they haven't cancelled it though because I still have the custom user title thing.. hopefully they don't cancel it, the people who have heard the album have had pretty good things to say about it. And there's at least 3 or 4 projects done or becoming done now, so they've got quite a project queue loading up! -
Thread is still a good tool. I think I'll try some FF7 upgrades for my PC version which I bought on disc. o_O But I do not like the change that makes their HP over 9999 or anything that changes the actual structure of the game per se. New models are good, maybe upgraded music but I wouldn't replace it with Advent Children music, no. Just higher quality versions of the originals. Get some MIDIs and slap EWQL on it, hah. As for FF8 and FF9, I will probably emulate those with the discs through pSX. It just seems to be the easiest way without worrying about plugins. Though I might check out, I think someone said, Pete s plugins *shrug* and see if it looks better. Then I'll decide from there. I also need to finish Legend of dragoon

Yes that is true... If I fell on my xbox, that would mean I fell through both the HDTV and the large glass TV stand, resulting in a horrific DEATH.

Yeah, I got my Jasper Elite in September 2008 And it's not loud at all.

Sonic the Hedgehog: The Sound of Speed - History

Want hear. o_o *searches halcserver* Dude! This album is going to be DONE soon! I can't believe it. I hope they don't waste too much time in releasing this thing. -
I've got a 750gb external drive, so it won't be any problem at all.

I was going to get a PS3 with my upcoming music job money, but that was before I knew there was a redesigned 360. I'm totally getting this now instead, as it's the best gaming deal evar. Gotta get me some Kinect and Kinectimals too. <3 I don't flip my Xbox back and forth on a whim. It's literally been laying on its side for months. My stupid brother-in-law who came over to visit flipped his back and forth while playing rented Arkham Asylum and scratched it up. It still worked though. (he moved the xbox between rooms and flipped it horizontal and vertical for no reason, swapped out the hard drives all the time which I really didn't like him touching my hard drive... unsurprisingly his xbox bricked a couple months later) If you want to hear a REAL horror story, I could tell you about the time I bought a PS2 and a month later, the laser went out. And the PS2 warranty was exactly one month, which I was past by about 2 days. Laser went out in 2 ps2s. But I didn't make a SONY thread so we could talk about how crappy the hardware is. I made a E3 Microsoft thread so we could talk about new games and hardware for Xbox. I didn't make this thread for people to come in and troll, and talk about how dumb it is and describe the length of their sony / nintendo fanboyism. Just take it to a new thread if that's what you're up to, because you've got plenty to talk about with their conferences on today.

I've actually been waiting patiently for the day that Jazz Jackrabbit is culturally relevant enough to become a game again. Stupid Raving Rabbids. You're on page 7 gtfo

Xbox360, PC, and PS3 But you know the place to play will be the 360, especially if there's any kind of online features That or PC, since they'll probably use the same windows LIVE service or whatever. I know nothing about PC gaming. Also the price is dropping on all older 360s by $50.

I need something to sub to the panel so I'm going to finish a couple songs. Do you think either of mine would pass the panel, or are they too liberal? I haven't submitted either of them and "Frostbitten Wintermoon" is done, the other needs vocals. I think "Atmospheric Evisceration" is more conversative. Let me know what you think, or I might end up subbing Kirby instead.

I was impressed by all of it. I saw the lady take off her jacket in the huge white room full of balls and I was like "wow". I know I'm going to have nightmares about that if I play that too often... giant colored balls crushing me in my sleep.

Fine.... The Googlian Overlords are already dictating every other portion of my life from email to my phone. I might as well set up a calendar there. You'd think an OCR-branded online calendar would be good though. OCR merchandise like Spaceballs. I want some OCR toilet paper. Now the only problem is I did check by searching gmail's search bar, and I have a mismatched number of submission confirmation emails, and none of them say what I have submitted. o_o I need to figure out what I submitted that I don't have a confirmation for, which may be tricky because I'm stupid. edit: I think I figured it out, I may be one week past the 3 weeks from my last sub.. I'm missing 2 confirmation emails but I probably deleted them. o_O I find Google's calendar to be.. not very nice.. I would prefer a smaller overview with highlighted date buttons. But meh.

Rock Band 3 (Now with Midi Keyboard)
Brandon Strader replied to Brandon Strader's topic in General Discussion
I learned how to play the drums with Rock Band. I was doing it right all along while you guys were clicking goofy little buttons. Then you try to play real guitar like that and it sounds like Meshuggah. -
I actually have FF7 for the PC which is why I wasn't going to emulate it. But I don't know if it runs on Win7 64, it's an older game. o_o If that forum was a little more organized, I'd probably check out what they have. Was FF9 ever released for PC? Cause if it was, I might just get FF7 through 9 for the PC. o_o

Thanks for the second WIP. 17th is First WIP date so you were already covered. But I appreciate you working to finish the song, the sooner the better. I'll send you feedback via pm.

YOU GET A FREE MINI-360! AND YOU GET A FREE MINI-360! YOU ALL GET FREE MINI-360s!! That was fun. Redesigned system for the same price? I'm sure the kind of kids who say "Micro$oft" will find some way to insult them about that still. I think it's great. I just wish I could trade my elite for one. Kinectimals, yes creepy, but looks like fun. Fitness games look pretty sweet. Kinect Adventures, whoo. Star Wars, looks like it is on rails but still, if it works the way they make it look, it'll be the best Star Wars game experience evar. Gears 3, looked a little basic. It's not anything we haven't seen before. Ok sure, giant squids shooting out of the ground, that's new. And maybe I'll be impressed or freaked out by that when I see the game. MGS Rising.. Raiden is a badass, and you can literally cut anything you want in any direction you choose. They chopped a dude in a few pieces. At the end, they sliced a watermelon down to edible pieces. Extremely impressed with this one. Halo: Reach... meh... first look at campaign looked a little generic until they went into space. Looking forward to the outer-space ship battles. Dance Central... haha, ok, that was pretty gay. But some sick part of me thinks it would be worthwhile to learn how to dance. For the ladies.

Dragon Warrior Project - Claim tracks, send WIPs, yeah?
Brandon Strader replied to Monobrow's topic in Projects
If by chop chop you mean take a nap, clean the house, take another nap, then on the day before final wav turn in a final wav, then..... maybe. I kid of course. (you'll have it a week later) -
That's exactly what I meant! Man, you know me so well. I've got my alarm set for 1pm. SpikeTV programmed for 1:30pm. I doubt they'll say a price but if they do, I'll know.

Rock Band 3 (Now with Midi Keyboard)
Brandon Strader replied to Brandon Strader's topic in General Discussion
They have the good stuff on Rock Band Network. I'm serious, bands most people here never heard of like Glass Hammer. Ywingie Malmsteen has a song I think. A lot of good metal on there. If you're looking for the real experience, RBN is the way to go. You can even get some great songs for half price. Camel. EFF YES. I need flute peripheral so I can play Rhayader. -
HI. I don't remember the last time I submitted a mix. You have to wait 3 weeks between submissions or they get ignored. I think some kind of primitive mix calendar would be a good idea. Possibly something attached to your account that informs you when enough time has passed. Basically it's like the Event Reminders under User CP, which I honestly have no idea what that is for... but something like that for remix submissions. A calendar basically, maybe one with a popup notification like some people get with a new PM. Just an idea.

OverClocked After Dark - The Former Thread of Days of Yore
Brandon Strader replied to Brushfire's topic in General Discussion
If that's really your highlight reel, then I'd hate to see the bloopers. Also just to be a jerk, I'm quoting your post. Awww... it cuts out all your quotes.
