Welp... only a few more days or so until release.
 
I hope everyone is happy with this small album. Not as cool as that giant Castlevania one, I suppose, but still a fun little album.
 
A nice mix of styles and some really good coverage of older, obscure games, which I'm always in favor of.

edit: My mix is coming together really cool! I can't say it'll be totally different from what you heard from me, but it's gonna be a sweet, upbeat acoustic song, I think Iwata would have dug it

Can't wait to listen to the track, as well as everyone else's! I have zero doubt in the fact that they will all be awesome!

I'm surprised this was looked at as an album project that should be finished "relatively fast.".  I have no say on anything, since i'm no one important to OCRemix, but I believe a man who has shaped the VG industry, as much as he did, deserves the patience and dedication towards creating a perfect representation of his career achievements in our industry.

I don't think waiting too long will affect the impact of this album.  Just the fact that people like myself can see this located on the front page of OCremix shows that we know it's coming, and we are all ever so excited!

Regardless if time is extended, I wish the best of luck to all remixers, and I'm hoping this album is as amazing as the legacy that this man left us.

Live trumpets? Sounds sweet. Kirby tracks are written in a way that orchestral arrangements make sense, which is where I think Chernabogue is going. It totally could be something else, but my prediction is orchestral. Else live instruments don't really make sense. But then again, what do I know? All I know is that its going to be a pleasure to my ears.

Its good to see someone trying to fix up what is already a good remix so that its even better. I like that, means you want to keep improving. Keep that positive attitude dude.

It would be a good learning experience and you can take the blame when I forget to show up for three days ina row.
 
Mostly, it will just be taking over if I can't respond right away, and helping out with reviewing the quality of the remixes. I also like having someone that will be willing to disagree with any stupid decisions I make.

I mean, its small, and kinda being thrown together all quickly. Much smaller than something like BadAss 3. And yes, that was the first thing to come to mind.
