  1. OC ReMix Reveals FULL 2011 Album Lineup! April 1, 2011 Contact: press@ocremix.org FAIRFAX, VA--Hot on the heels of their 24th album release, Mega Man: The Robot Museum, video game arrangement site OverClocked ReMix is announcing a full 2011 album lineup that will bring over 20 new albums to the VGM loving masses. "Our album projects are really the backbone of OverClocked ReMix, and really get our name out there," said David Lloyd, OC ReMix's founder. "Sure, we've got over 2000 individual remixes, but when an album like Heroes vs. Villains drops, people just can't seem to get enough. So we've decided to renew our efforts, double-down, and really make albums a priority." OC ReMix's new album initiative introduces dozens of new projects into the community, and artists and fans alike are invited to contribute. A full list of new projects follows this press release. About OverClocked ReMix Founded in 1999, OverClocked ReMix is an organization dedicated to the appreciation and promotion of video game music as an art form. 2. It wasn't anything special. I played it at NYCC and while making your own Megamans was cool, the game looked really ugly. It was rendered graphics but the color palettes and textures were all NES stylized. I wish they'd picked one or the other: 2D sprite-based NES aesthetic, or a 3D model-based modern aesthetic (like MMX8 or something).
  3. As a judge I would say go for it.
  4. I just found how to do it on another site. Thank you. This is great, it's just like the pixel density of the Gameboy Advance Micro (my favorite GBA). Kind of makes me wish they'd released a DS Micro.
  5. Wait, is there a way to turn off upscaling? I have very good eyes, I don't mind things being small.
  6. Allowing users to change their own nicks was a feature we used to have enabled on phpBB, but people abused it by changing their nicks all the time by squatting other users nicks and impersonating other users. Anyway we change nicks when the requests are reasonable enough, and I took care of yours.
  7. Your sig is really cool but it's too tall. Sig graphic height limit is 250px; please adjust the height of your sig. Thanks.

  8. You just pay more money for them, they're not that special.
  9. I can play Chaos Rings on my 1st Gen iPod Touch running iOS 3.1.2, although there is a lot of frameskip to keep the game running at a decent clip. As far as I know all of SE's iOS games except for Voice Fantasy are playable on the original iPod Touch with its max firmware (3.1.3). I have Chaos Rings, Hills and Rivers Remain, and Vanguard Storm. I haven't bothered with the Final Fantasies because I already have those for GBA and DS. According to iTunes, you can run Final Fantasy III on an iPod Touch with firmware as low as 3.0. I've been considering getting a newer model of iPod Touch just as a handheld gaming console; newer iPods are on par with iPhone 4 (processing power, high pixel-density, etc.). The problem is that they are rather pricey and I just dropped a lot of dough on a 3DS, so I'll probably hold off for a bit until they come down or I can get a good deal.
  10. If you'd like to use OCR's forums to promote your music, then don't insult the site staff while doing it. You can post your music and be civil, or you can not post it at all.
  11. Square Enix generally does a great job with their iOS games.
  12. Sorry, but do you play on the OCR TF2 server? I'm pretty sure you don't, and therefore don't really have an idea of what the OCR TF2 community is like. So unless you do and you aren't being facetious, you should keep sarcastic, uninformed comments like that to yourself.
  13. Just...play on the OCR server. Nobody will treat you badly.
  14. Your sig graphics are too tall. The height limit is 250px. Please resize or change your sig.

  15. Got an old version of Chipamp and/or game music player plugins installed? You might have to remove them and reinstall them.
  16. Looks like the position has been filled. Closed at the request of the OP.
  17. Yeah. Also when I play games I usually just plug the damn thing in anyway. Battery life is not really the massive consideration people make it out to be (for adults anyway).
  18. I think you guys are taking this song too seriously.
