  1. Your post makes no sense. You need to make your posts readable. That means a serious attempt at proper spelling and correct grammar. Not this tripe.
  2. Tried out the replay stuff this weekend.
  3. As excited as you guys are, you don't really need to gives us the play-by-play on your mixing process. Remember, it's a competition. Try not to give too much away.
  4. The combined height of your sigs can't exceed 250px. Please resize or edit in some way.

  5. You guys know you get a whole week, right?
  6. Yeah there's no rule against posting WIPs; it's just that you probably don't want your opponent stealing your ideas.
  7. I wouldn't say go crazy. If you want to quote it that's fine, but remember what you're supposed to be doing. Use your source and your opponent's source.
  8. Mega Man Bracket tournament graphic is up in the first post after some edits.
  9. If you can, gimme a PSD so that I can edit as necessary. Also in case I haven't said it before, thanks for making all this stuff.
  10. Not bad, but the boxes all need to be the same size.
  11. Match ups are live for the Mega Man Bracket.
  12. Updated first post with this. Match-ups go up at 12:00PM EDT (4:00PM GMT).
  13. Gotta agree with Vinnie and Drew. Not a bad arrangement but there's some weird over-compression stuff going on that makes the whole thing sound hollow in the middle (as odd as THAT sounds). 4:54 lacks the impact you were going for I think. That lead is really not cutting through the soundscape the way you want it to, and the "rocket" rumbling is fairly indistinct and bleeds in with the snare. There's seems to be a lot of compressed reverb decay in the percussion, which makes things sound weird. NO
  14. Larry, I think you should just NO the mix. I don't think the production is quick-fix enough to just warrant a conditional YES. Great arrangement and lead sequencing, but those drum samples are so lame, and there are a lot of parts where the mix gets really hot. There's a lot of sizzle on those pads. Needs a lot of EQ work; rebalancing, that kind of thing. Love that piano at the end. Really solid. NO
  15. Brilliantly dreamy. I love it to pieces. Sorry for your crappy day/week/month/whatever, but at least you got such a sweet piece of music out of it. Love your harmonic choices. So lush. This is music to fall in love to. YES
  16. A great remix of my favorite song from that game. I've tried so many times to remix this song and this is everything I want in a Powell arrangement. Very energetic and vibrant. I love it. YES
  17. Boomy reverby percussion is killing this piece. Strings and piano are solid, but there's too much reverb decay floating around from percussion. Synth stuff is cool though. I like the dissonance. NO
  18. Great sequencing and arrangement, but right around 1:18 there is just too much going on in the front and everything gets messy. Need to balance elements better, especially with percussion. NO
  19. Great arrangement, kind of conservative. Timing issues kind of ruin it though. Things get a little too loose further into the piece. You guys need to lock in together more. NO
  20. I like it. It's got a nice laid back sound, good production values, great vocal performance. Nice. YES
  21. People, stop whining about your hardware. Most of the mixes I have posted up on OCR were made on an AMD K6-2. Cry less. Mix more.
  22. That's way cooler. Can I get the PSD for that if you have it?
  23. Not bad, but it's not the GRMRB II, it's GRMRB 2011. Need to have the year in there, not a roman numeral. Also I'd prefer something that's more of a banner, not a screenshot.
  24. This year's official bracket badges.
