  1. Boomy reverby percussion is killing this piece. Strings and piano are solid, but there's too much reverb decay floating around from percussion. Synth stuff is cool though. I like the dissonance. NO
  2. Great sequencing and arrangement, but right around 1:18 there is just too much going on in the front and everything gets messy. Need to balance elements better, especially with percussion. NO
  3. Great arrangement, kind of conservative. Timing issues kind of ruin it though. Things get a little too loose further into the piece. You guys need to lock in together more. NO
  4. I like it. It's got a nice laid back sound, good production values, great vocal performance. Nice. YES
  5. People, stop whining about your hardware. Most of the mixes I have posted up on OCR were made on an AMD K6-2. Cry less. Mix more.
  6. That's way cooler. Can I get the PSD for that if you have it?
  7. Not bad, but it's not the GRMRB II, it's GRMRB 2011. Need to have the year in there, not a roman numeral. Also I'd prefer something that's more of a banner, not a screenshot.

  9. It's an older game, so you'll probably have to scrounge around in the used bins or online somewhere. The GCN version should work on the Wii.
  10. Rosters and brackets will be posted this week. Match-ups posted on Saturday.
  11. I have if for the Gamecube. Great game. Love the characters.
  12. Can't handle? What do you mean?
  13. Section 8: Prejudice Platforms: PC, XBLA Price: $15.00 Section 8: Prejudice is a futuristic FPS I've been playing on PC this past week. It's pretty fun, and a nice change of pace from TF2. The gaming sites have been pretty kind to it reviews-wise, and it's got a couple of interesting features: You respawn by dropping in from orbit; this means you can basically respawn anywhere on the map that isn't protect by anti-air turrets. You can sprint around in 3rd person mode. You get a jetpack. You get lots of customizable loadouts and can earn weapon upgrades. You can purchase and deploy things like turrets, vehicles, and other support hardware on the fly. The main draw though is that as you're playing a standard capture-the-control-point game, the game will generate mini-missions for your team to accomplish to get points; things like protect/escort the convoy, hunt down the enemy VIP, deliver the airstrike beacon, etc. The dynamic missions really keep the gameplay fresh and gets people moving around all over the map (rarely see any turtling). Fair warning: the PC version uses GFWL, but despite that, it features dedicated server support for both PC and XBLA versions, which is pretty great. The game even features a fairly substantial single-player campaign to teach you the entire system. Best part is that it's pretty cheap; $15 bucks on Steam. If you're looking for a fresh MP experience, try this out. It's a pretty good package for the price.
  14. I expected the by about Dany. She was 13 in the book; that kind of thing would never fly, even on HBO.
  15. Hrm. I haven't watched any of it yet, but Dany and Jon are my favorite characters. Hope they don't get the short end here.
  16. Actually I did notice right away when my backstab animations were screwed up. I know it doesn't change the functionality of the knife, but it affects game animations and it's annoying. It's silly to have them off, they're a part of the game.
  17. Hey, can we turn crits back on? Nocrits messes up backstab animations.
  18. No more contestants, unless we can get 32 more people to sign up by tomorrow. Make it happen.
  19. I don't think he was being condescending by saying "not sure." Maybe he was just agreeing with you that it doesn't make sense for people to make the comparison?
  20. We've got a requests forum and a workshop forum. I don't think we need a thread for "I'm thinking about remixing this song."
