  1. Alright. Hedgehog Heaven has been released. Larry, please give us one finger on the video stream on Saturday night, like you did last weekend.
  2. Wait, you mean the show has a video stream again? I need to get my ass off Xbox Live once in a while and actually start watching it again. Then I'll have more opportunities to call Larry a high-class Latin pimp.
  3. Koji Kondo and Matt Pollard greviously injured the stream.
  4. Why didn't he call in again? I bet Larry told him he couldn't, being the racist that he is.
  5. Lar-ry! Lar-ry! Lar-ry! Lar-ry! Lar-ry! Lar-ry! Lar-ry! *cough* Ladies and gentlemen, be prepared for yet another season of corny jokes, nutty call-ins, "Larry looks like Ghandi," bitching about the stream, and "Larry the high-class Latin pimp!"
  6. Hey, if you didn't burn out on us, you could've made that two songs from KiC that didn't want to make you stab things. With that said, this is a rather interesting mix, and certainly not something you'd expect to hear, considering that the source material is from a DKC game. It takes a while to get moving, but when it does (around 1:06), it sounds good. Sometimes the buzzing and effects can be a little unsettling, but other than that, we have a mix that's fairly well done and wouldn't sound out of place in an actual game.
  7. Larry the High-Class Latin Pimp!
  8. KiC has made the front-page news on Donkey Kong Universe, the website formerly known as DK Vine. I'm also glad to see that, on average, people seem to like the project more than they dislike it, and even then, it seems that most of the complaints are more towards specific songs than the project as a whole itself. It's great to see that most of you guys are enjouying it. EDIT: Now on Void Games.
  9. Last night, you guys heard me slam it, several times. You heard about the straight "NO" vote. Now here's the page that contains... ...Banjo-Kazooie: Unusual Suspects. (Decided against direct linking.) And here's the judging topic. Enjoy. Oh, and great show, Larry.
  10. We all kind of got it from Star last night, didn't we? I mean, there was his thing to you about the knob slobbering, and then he told me to STFU (which prompted my "I'll be sure to...take that to hear, Star" comment, or whatever I said). Of course, I didn't hear him caling him calling in at any point, so that doesn't say much for him. FAGORT. Also, I might post something I mentioned last night, but that'll be for later. Like, after the MP3 comes out. AND WHERE IS KONG IN CONCERT, BINNIE?
  11. Or if you brought up the idea of a Minesweeper Remix Collab, which was hilarious.
  12. "I said lick my balls, chop chop!" So subtle.
  13. First thing, a remix of "Fear Factory" called "Fear Factory"? Tsk. That aside, this is a cool mix. From the start, it just grabs your attention with a typical four-on-the-floor beat and other nice percussion. Nice ring effects kick in around 0:33, and a cool synth kicks in around the same time. A little bit later, a short, high synth kicks in with part of the melody, but it's a little hard to hear. Skipping ahead, the next part of the melody kicks in around 2:08, but again, it's a little hard to hear. Skipping ahead AGAIN, to around 2:48 another part of the melody plays, which is one of my fave parts, and bLiNd remixes it with style, even if the melody's a little low in volume. The rest of the song runs in kind of a similar vein, but it's very cool, even if some melody volumes are too low and sounds distorted. Props to bLiNd.
  14. Like I expected, this is quality. Or, more specifically, DKC2-Protricity quality. I recommend downloading this one. For starters, "Haunted Chase" itself is a cool song, but this remix makes it sound cooler. The guitar work in here is good, as well as the synth work. The drums really pop out, too. A real "big" part is at around 2:52 when the guitar work gets just plain cool. If that was the only good part of the mix, I'd say download it, but as it's a great part in a mix with great parts, download the mix anyway. It also gets nice and sweet around 4:07, and, for some reason, faintly reminiscent of Silver Junction/Launch Gully in Blast Corps. Nice heavy/grunge (?) part there. If you have the time (about 35 minutes on a 56K), this is DEFINITELY something worthy of a download. And yes, it is only 4:54.
  15. What's not to like/love? The synth work is excellent, especially the main background synth. I call those "watery synths," because...er...I do. My favorite part is probably the section from 0:44-1:58, since the new melody there just fits perfectly. 10/10 EDIT, a year and a half later: "watery synths." Hah. "acid synths," more like.
