I had never heard that song until now, and i can kinda see why you might think that. Similar choices made in orchestration and whatnot.

So, anyone think the small change at the beginning of Dan visiting Veidt instead of Rorshach weird? I think that they might've done that to affirm the mask-killer theory to Dan, because Rorshach would've been firmly convinced of it either way. Too bad though, it leaves out the line where Rorshach questions Veidt's sexuality...though hinted at later when Dan is on the computer after he figures out the password, there is a folder labeled "Boys".

people shouldn't be making comparisons of Rorschach to batman, the only comparison to be made is poor acting decisions by Christian Bale. Rorschach is described as having a creepy monotone voice by Laurie in the book, it makes sense for him to speak that way. it also made any time he raised his voice very effective because he hardly ever changed the manner he speaks. there's more that could be gone into on this subject it's just not worth making the comparison imo.

I'm going to say you shouldn't take Gario's statements to heart on this. If Rozovian wants to write in parallel fifths there's nothing wrong with it. And there is nothing "always" wrong with it, nor does contrary motion make anything "always" sound better. Take this to heart though: If it sounds good, it doesn't matter what it's doing. Also the ambiguity that Gario speaks of is pointless, tonality isn't completely necessary in this type of music, nor does open fifths imply other keys/tonalities. None of the parts in this bothered me on a dissonance level either. Gario, try some twentieth century music...rather then common practice stuff ;P the kind of thinking you're getting at really doesn't fit in with this type of music...he's not writing something that's immitating Bach or Palestrina here. Back on topic: nice wip, production doesn't feel bad, and i'm digging the arrangement. my advice would be add more stuff to the melody that you're not going to find in the original, not just rhythmic riffs on the original melody.

Well, i started a splash woman remix recently, but i see that's already taken... I do have interest in Galaxy Man's stage, however; i see nothing about deadlines anywhere. If you could give me a better idea about timelines/deadlines i might be inclined to join.
