  1. Okay, so I managed to read on at the messages. I'm still a little concerned if this grudge existed since that phase in CS though, but I see where you're looking at. Still I do feel a little concerned if he's rubbing what's been exchanged between you two the wrong way, and he's taken all this "aaaah, Pixie just flamed me" business too seriously. I know he's my squire within the kingdom of Trenthia, but I've had to put him on block until he can control his temper a little better. I'll release it every now and again to check on him though, thus that doesn't mean that I necessarily hate the guy. Still, I am now puzzled on which side seems to be the instigating side, but whichever, I really want both parties to come to a halt with that sort of thing. I face enough drama with the DoD people shitting on me, and I don't want that kind of thing to come here too. And... just for the record, it's odyssey and Nasenmann, not the weird spellings put in the shownotes
  2. He does kinda have a point though; we brits never got our hands on the Tales series outside emulation. Kyle, my WAV will come to you ASAP. It's hosted, and I should have given you the link a long time ago.
  3. Not to rub any butter in anyone's faces, but if this grudge relates to what happened in the mastering phases of Chrono Symphonic, can you at least let that slide and come to a compromise? And I don't think he was attacking the thread; he thinks that you attacked him during the recording of the last show (which was my first forray into VGDJ and I gotta say it was a slick job between you and Wing ). I think a certain Black Eyed Peas song would be appropriate right now. Where is the love??
  4. Mine's coming through, the refrain is building in well enough. I should be able to get a render set by Tuesday. It's like brewing beer; optimise the time you have and it'll taste better
  5. Or Stinkoman? Oh, and the deadline's today. You asking for a deadline challenge???
  6. Is it because I'm one of the two artists (three if you count house and paragon as separates) doing Fighting of the Spirit? Nonetheless, I'll believe it when I see it when I come home this weekend. Presea will also be done and sent tomorrow unless Kyle will find any objections when I send the file to him.
  7. I wish I can say the same, but I have no TV licence over here. Still yeah, definitely made an interesting run out here in spite of the 2 hour delay, and a welcome change to tuning into Radio 1 for one morning only. And we salute Beatdrop for chipping in like a sailor should
  8. Haha, more from the Milkyway Wishes camp? And I thought Mustin and Myth wanting to chime in would be enough O.O
  9. I just said that he's improved greatly since making this mix, that's all. It shouldn't have been that hard to understand
  10. I don't know. I've seen ilp0 provide some neat stuff at VGMix, and in my opinion, I think he has actually grown better since his initial mix (which apparantly is this one). I have to agree with Larry on the instance of the clicks that randomly come through throughout the track (not to mention hiss now that I think of it), and my own take on the situation is that it could have been given a slight push up the front for the drums and - what I think should have been debated from the panel - should have been given a much BETTER ending than the sudden transition to high-pass filter and the pop at the end. But still, I can't deny that the ideas are all in place and show a nice Latino-esque movement to it that can easily show things nicely for the people. The guitar skills are also very fluent in performance, and it's a common sign that styles like that should be pushed forward into the Dwelling of Duels someday. This track was featured in my VGMix spotlights on ThaSauce for the week of November 5-11 2005, and to be frank that week was really slow, hence the lack of tracks in there. Personally, if it was me voting on it I would have said no, but it's still alright. If that can pass, I'd expect ilp0 to keep pushing the pace with his future subs. I've grown quite fond of his new FF7/Wolfenstein 3D mix myself Still, welcome to OCR and enjoy your stay.
  11. I usually hate Tuesdays (it'll be 5AM over here) because that's where I have to struggle with five hours of lessons straight, but at least the time feels more convenient. I'll try what I can to make it, although God knows how long it'll take for me just to get out of bed in the morning
  12. I'm not Larry, but he's doing a show later in the week just so he can spend some quality time with his lady. Speaking of which, even though her call-in on VGF77 was satisfactory, I kinda miss her being a guest host
  13. Wait, so if Het (and possibly me alongside him) is doing one competing mix, who's doing the other? O.o
  14. I will have a WIP ready. Quick reminder that the deadline is March 1st?
  15. Ah, so that reminds me of the amount of editing I did on k-wix's notation on "Key of Destiny", or something
  16. So you're saying that you want the arrangement for solo piano and are hoping for me to tweak the composition a little bit when you're done? Or are you meaning something else altogether? Just curious
  17. Don't panic, I am sure to comment on it before the weekend. And if you thought that was rough, I already have rough spots this week with TWO project WIP deadlines and some college work to hand in by Friday (which is based on working on a team that I really detest working with, on some video database or other). I don't know if Snapple was or not, but the project needs a Lava Reef remix, whichever way we can
  18. I have my WIP rendered out, but it's on the college computers right now. When I go back to the labs tomorrow I will send it over.
  19. From the top of my head, there's po!, Midee, norg and MagiNinjA who can provide violin services. Sue me if I forgot someone X_x
  20. Lava Reef for two pianos, anyone? If that idea does go ahead I'll let Het start, considering my week is swamped enough as it is.
  21. For the love of Chaos... not again? O_o Right, unless we can find a viable match that may be something I'll be up to do. Although, with Red Tailed Fox on holiday and Prophecy still seeming to be MIA in terms of remixing I may fall short with the contacts that I have X_x
  22. I think the only word that is appropriate to you at this moment in time Dan is... "surprise" Thanks for the clarification, but you do realise that it's not *your* project?
  23. Personally, I don't think it was a wise idea to relesae this months before the completion of an incoming project (in this case Milkyway Wishes). The problem I've seen with pre-releases involved in a project is that peoples' reactions to the project lacken when the entire thing comes out. Just look at what happened to Hedgehog Heaven and Chrono Symphonic; they're both okay in their own rights, but I felt the pre-release material from there scattered at OCRemix and VGMix have helped bring down the overall anticipation way too much. Now that that thought is out of the way, this sounds interesting. Did you just transfer a short 15-20 second intermission into an irish folk song? O.o If that was my thought on the source material, definitely an interesting and upbeat attire showcased here, and as far as Geoff's tech-based antics have shown I think I see it as a big, BIG improvement in comparison to Cavern of Dreams. However, people have still stated something like synthetic sounds being used down the line. That can be true for some of Usa's instruments, and I would have thought that with elements like that it should have gone through to the Judges. But it's still fine seeing it here nonetheless. Mad props to the pair of you, and welcome to the OCR clan Dan (aaargh, did I rhyme that? I need a life.)
  24. Just out of question, when's the next art WIP deadline? Or is it all open for when we could send in our next drafts?
