ah I did mucho progreso on my track yesterday. Alas, I was too tired again, and went to sleep before encoding to mp3. I only need to do some adjustments to the end, but the song is practically done. I hope everyone else works hard to finish their tracks soon too! (Now, It's time to finish those S&K remixes )

Good news, my song is almost done. I exported an almost final version yesterday (It still need a last section that I think will last about 40 seconds) but couldn't upload it because I was tired as hell and went to sleep. But I think I'll be able to upload a "Final" version tonight. Depending on the comments I get I will work on it more. Anyways, just an update.

I like the atmosphere of this project. It has a calm aura. But enough with the hippie talk, I was working on my mix yesterday but was too tired to render a demo so I went to sleep. I might give out a new wip soon for you all, with more chilly goodness

Anyways, great work shariq, you could come up with a pretty good and organized project in a decent time frame. Too bad I couldn't help you this time with a song but I think you did a very good job with the song I was going to remix anyways . Hope to see you managing more projects in the future Mr Ansari!

meh, its ovbiously a not-so important reason, MN, but I think you were a bit too harsh there. The people who complained are not complaining for the heck of it, but because they want, just like you, to see this project succeeding in a big way. And mods can delete this post as well, but I think the headphones are not fitting there. If a lot of people would have told me to change something about my song that was wrong, I would have done it, because I want my job to be as satisfying as all the work from all the other people who joined the project. So I dunno why this had to be resolved in a dictatorship way. Anyways, good luck with the release of the project.

Just to say I haven't quit on this. I just haven't made progress because of lack of time. I will try to have new demos this weekend.

I think Kyle wouldn't mind changing the track-sequence. I suggest asking him when he returns. Or ask Lea about it. Considered it, but no go. I want to keep the tracks from each game seperate, and RTF's track is in Phantasia, while Ichi's is from Symphonia. And with that, this is likely the last you'll hear from me (well, maybe one or two more times) this weekend, as I'll be gone. The Dream Will Never Die is the intro song for the ToP game. Its actually the theme song of the game. Its some j-pop, but its not too cheesy. And actually this song blew my socks off because I haven't seen anything like that intro on a snes game. ToP rocks.

I've listened to DHSU's crud, he's good. I think he could make a good remix of the dream will never die.

Yeah I spoke with Thomas last week about it and he wasn't interested in this. But there are plenty of good remixers around so I guess it won't be hard finding one.

yeah the long intro was intentional, to emphatize a bit the chilly feel. It would feel so chilly if I went to the melody and the beat after 10 seconds, its just to set up the mood Yeah I think the kick stoods out a bit too much though. Its not a FL kick though, I got it from an independent refill for Reason. If there's one to blame, is Sadorf! he's being saying how much my kicks suck after I moved to reason that I've trying too hard to make them sound good lol. Don't worry this was just a first demo, and plenty of things will be fixed before the last version. Thanks for the quick feedback though, It helps a lot
