Why do I like this mix? Let me count the ways. Could it possibly be the trippy, somewhat dissonant qualities of the mix, with a bubbling, liquidy feel that is somewhat reminiscant of the dollar store rods with the little thing inside that moved up and down when you twisted it, making a whoooooooooooooooooo sound. I dunno what they are called, but this reminds me of one of those thingies. It has an almost mocking quality, daring the listener not to like it, daring the listener to get turned off by its quirky, strange and squishy sound. The nah nah nah nah boo boo part only adds to the mocking feel. We hear hints of steel drums in the background, and other elements that give this song a bit of a caribbean taste, which adds to the swampy feel, i guess. Parts of this mix remind me of the soundtrack to Legend of Legaia. Heh. Not the best of reviews, but i will admit that I like this mix, for all of its crazy ass mood. Also:

Global Trance is right. While the Evaluation period is going on (that deadline is coming up, people), I will be working on write ups for the site, and hopefully I will be able to get them to global trance as soon as possible. Heh, thanks EvilHorde. Mixing that track was a bitch (I've been working on various WIPs since a bit after September) But now that it's almost done, I feel like it's going to sound good. However, I have to go back and lower the volume, as well as work in a better more climactic ending. The second buildup of the song seems REALLY weak. I need to do a lot with it, before i declare it a finished product. However, any comments, concerns and suggestions anyone has would be greatly appreciate.d

I know. Amongst the things I still have to do to the song, one of them is volume reduction.

The Nice Work Guy? Cheesy, djp, cheesy. However, this mix is everything but cheesy. Star does what he does best, which is make music (unless, of course, he has a kick ass recipe for key lime pie). We have some hard hitting orchestral work here, which catches you straight off the bat with a tight snare and some bad ass sounding samples. As the mix progresses, things only get better, as Star really shows off his knowledge (another thing he does quite often ) of orchestration. This mix is nothing short of beautiful. Great work, Salzman.

Mystery Meat would probably work best, but would it fit well with the mood of the song?
