I just got back from seeing it. Pure. Fucking. Awesome. This is one of the few movies that actuality had me muttering an honest "daymn" in admiration. It's ridiculously awesome in every sense of the word. Well worth seeing.

Possible Questions (now with answers) What is the Fan Art Competition? The Fan Art Competition is a monthly event where artists create some form of art based on a certain theme. What is the theme? The theme is decided by the winner of the previous months competition and must be video game related. What if I don't know much about the theme? Information resources are provided in the first post of the thread. Who can submit art? Anyone What are my restrictions? You are allowed to submit one entry, but other than that there are no restrictions. There are no size, quality, image size restrictions. Who decides the winner? OCR of course, the whole community votes on it. How does voting work? On the day after the deadline I will make a post that displays all of the art submitted. Then users will be allowed to see every entry and decide which three they like the best, in order. Afterwhich they will send me a PM with their vote and maybe a few comments about the contest. They must do so in the announced voting period. If not then they fail at voting. When and how do we see the results? After the voting period is over I will count the results and figure out which peice has the most points. When voting the voter sends in their top three favorite peices. The one they like the most is worth 3 points, the second 2 points and the third 1 point. If I enter the contest can I vote? Yes, and voting for yourself is allowed if you REALLY wanna. Once the points have been counted I will send a happy PM to the winner that tells them that they one and explains how they are to choose the next months theme. *deep breath* Once I get a PM back I will post the results and artists choice for the next months theme. Sorry, but I'm unable to enter this month, as my laptop became self-aware, then became emo and committed suicide , taking my FAC entry with it! Thankfully, It's probably a power issue, but still...worthless silicon bastard!

Damn...any idea on how much repairs cost if I have to pay?

So, I've been having a slight bit of power trouble recently (started last...week? No more than that, I think) as occasionally when I move the thing, the AC connection would break, and it would switch to the battery (if I had it in). But NOW, Even if it's JUST the battery, or JUST the power cord, or both, IT WON'T TURN ON! the only thing it does is, if the powercord is plugged in, the little light that tells you it's plugged in flickers steadily, and it's slightly audible (very faint, but you can hear it). So, I'm pretty much having a panic attack right now, do any of you think you can help?

I've scanned my entry, but it needs some work. You all should be able to gawk at it by Saturday.

Ever played EvE online Nazxul? Might be worth looking into... As for Blizzard, they're like King Midas right now (except without the logistical problems of turning food into gold), but I'd rather have another TRUE sequel for Starcraft (as an RTS) than another sci-fi MMO (which is always good), as Starcraft really needs some new blood in it's franchise first. Granted, this is the same thing they did with Warcraft...but it worked out.

Something from Zelda would be an obvious choice, but I would go for something from the Mechwarrior series, because Mechwarrior (or battletech for purists) needs more love dammit!.

So…seeing as how you two have lives now (which is a WONDERFULL THING! Be happy and all that), but some of us (like me) have nothing much to do…except plot the continuation of our favorite podcast. Now, I don’t expect this to be a walk in the park, and I don’t think anyone is under that impression. Setting up, recording, editing, compression and posting are all essential and tricky parts of the creation of a stellar podcast. However, I know that there are many smart, talented, enthusiastic people that…well, may want to help keep this podcast alive. Now, I have ideas, and others may have ideas, and we need ideas, but we also need people willing to work hard as best they can, if we want to try to keep the same kind of quality that past episodes have enjoyed. Will we reach that point? Not at first, and not for a good bit. But I have faith that the community who has spent so long listening, laughing, and loving this podcast can find the people, the time, and the passion to continue this labor of love. So…am the only one willing to learn and work to continue this?
