Ok. Sorry it took me so long to reply - time zones suck. Ben, you may take Lavos Battle if you want. I realise I claimed it four minutes before the official mixing stage started. As for me, I can take the "First Transportation" scene.

Oh, I made it in time! Yes, I want #24 - Epilogue – To Good Friends. As stated in the OST listing, And if we are allowed to take more than one song, and if we agreed to give sephfire the "Battle with Magus" theme , then I'll take Battle with Lavos as well. EDIT: Oh, as for the source tunes - I'll use "World Revolution", "Boss Battle 2", "Last Battle", maybe "Tyran Castle" for #23; "Far Off Promise", "CT Main Theme", perhaps "Manoria Cathedral", "Underground Sewer", "Fanfare 1" tracks for #24.

*sigh* I won't be here when the song-picking stage starts So I'd like to ask for an "Epilogue" song now. But if that's not possible, I'll take any song.

As SirRus said, you could easily combine Squidfont with Sam brass for a nice sound. Take my mix for example - that's Squidfont + Fluid sf + Vienna strings + Sam brass.

SirRus - Beginning of the End Nice intro. I can hear hints of the "Presentiment" track and a soft trumpet lead into the main section. sephfire - Inciting Incident Cool drumwork. I like your string stabs and woodwinds. The section after 2:28 is my favourite. blizihizake - Nostalgiac Interference Great strings and woodwinds. Interesting asian-style composition. Unknown - Predetermination Nice "battle theme" atmosphere. I love those tempo changes and your harmonies. Rellik - Untitled Cool tempo change as well, and a nice catchy major chord at the end of the main theme progression PS. Is it just me, or does the CT main theme sound exactly like Terminator theme?...

Glad you liked it. As SirRus said, those are SAM demo brass samples, available at http://www.projectsam.com Using Awave Studio I extracted simple .wav files from those gigasamples and then converted them to the format of instruments I used (namely .it)

Cool! I like where it's going towards the end of the song (actually going into the theme that the audition is on). Only suggestion I really have is to improve the mixing. Other than that, very peppy and clean. What did you use for the brass? Thanks. I used SAM brass, can be found here: http://www.projectsam.com What other libraries did you use? I figured pretty much everyone would be using soundfonts. Squidfont plus Fluid, Realfont GM sets and various single-instrument soundfonts from Hammersound. I cannot use gigasamples, so I converted those demo sets to simple samples as well.

I hope you'll be able to join the project, mv. You can do great stuff with just seven notes
