Also... xoc entered? Freakin' awesome.
I was wondering if he even knew of any of the game mixing community. Guess I know now. The Super Mario World album he did was excellent. I really need to catch up on my DoD; it's possibly my favorite place to go for game mixes now.

When are we going to open the polls and vote? I want ThatPaige to be judge.

Morlia Gallery - Claimed by: Red Tailed Fox*
Awesome.

The soundtrack wasn't exactly spectacular, and there actually wasn't music playing for a lot of the game...
Actually I don't remember any part where there wasn't music playing. I thought the game had some great, unique music. I haven't listened to it for a while, but I can think of at least a half-dozen Dark Cloud songs off the top of my head that I'd gladly stick on a playlist.
Anyway, I reviewed Moon Dust back on VGMix, but I believe that was an older version. I'll have to see how this one turns out.

We need ThatPaige. After all, you can't get a "Sexual Frosty" at any ol' Wendy's.

Aw shit, I missed it. Oh well, I <3 the MP3s anyway. Larry will always be around anyway, so I'll get my fill of Oji.

So is VGF #61 going to a show that will have VGF go out with a bang, or will it just be pretty standard stuff keeping it in tradition?

OMG, SOC on OCR?!
Congrats!

This is one of my favorite pieces of music from the soundtrack, and this is a cool remix.
While I'm commenting on MMZ2 music, I must pimp out this awesome soundtrack:

It's the best "Rockman Zero" album out right now; better than Telos, and even better than the entire RMZ 1~3 set, IMO.
It's sold out right now, unfortunately, but I was lucky enough to purchase it, so you could try hitting up someone for MP3s.

I said no.
Page 1 only, PLZ.

This version is a lot more varied. I like it better.
So apparently a noob's opinion doesn't matter.

Larry's going to have to work like a busy bee to make up those missed eps. Good luck to you, man.

Apparently my song didn't get played because it was "unfinished" (even though "WIP" was on RoFL). My song sucks, obviously (when I entered it, I had no idea how good most of the entires were going to be for this joke project). Still, it's not as bad as Azar's, so I think Larry was just trying to knock me for making him play all of my Song of the Week stuff.

If my Duck Hunt Crap WIP isn't in the Plutonium Edition, someone's going to get an ass pounding.
Don't worry. It is, bro. And it still sucks.
Awesome, that's what I like to hear.

Is there ever a show that JoeCam doesn't call into?
-
Ah, man. There was a show and I didn't even know about it.

This thread is not allowed to fall into page two. It is forbidden.

Larry never skips weeks unless his school's out of session. If he doesn't do a live show for a week, he'll make a recording of it later as a compromise, while still staying on the schedule he normally has. #52 and #53 will show up later on as MP3s for download.

So is this thread. Bump!

The good news is that GFF is back up, and thus so is SotW:
-
I want to continue SotW, GFF or no GFF. But I have some problems in deciding this.
One problem is that if I start it here (or somewhere else) and then have GFF come back up the next day, what would I do then? Should I switch back to GFF, or stay where I am now?
Another problem is actually deciding where I want to hold the event. I could do it here; I have long-standing ties to this site, Larry Oji pimps the event on VG Frequency, and some of the participants in SotW even originally came from here, so it would make sense. I could also do it at Slightly Dark, since they have a lot of the GFF "game music" members over there, but they also have an "Album of the Week" in a sense, and thus my contest would seem a bit imposing and conflicting. Then again, I could just decide I want complete control over the forum it's being held in, and thus hold it at my own forums (once I launch a new version of it on my new host, which will be happening soon).
I'm still giving GFF until Monday, then I'll start making some decisions.

I've been in #gfchat like three times since the forums have been down but nobody, not even the admins, will give an answer. I don't think they have any answers. The head admin, Bobo, is a fuckoff when it comes to managing his forum. He comes by only maybe once every few months. I believe he's on vacation right now, so nothing can be done until he gets back, as far as I know. I don't know why he doesn't grant server access and other useful information to the other admins there (or at least one of the admins), but that's how shit works, I guess.
But anyway, I'm a bit lucky though. Thanks to Google cache, I was able to retrieve the newest updated SotW rules (which I haven't backed up for at least a month) complete with formatting. I was also able to obtain the nomination queue from WEEK 17, which is a week off, but still not bad. I'm also a bit glad I delayed starting anything for WEEK 19, as now I can just start fresh if I need to.

I don't feel like making a whole new thread, so I'll use this classic, which desperately needs a bump.
Does anybody know if there's anyone who is keeping a master list or database of game remixes across the Internet?
I know OCR and VGMix aren't the only places to find music. There's also RKO, Dwelling of Duels, cover bands, IMCs, PRCs, doujins, and other stuff I can't even think of or don't know about. It makes it difficult when I want one definitive place to grab every Mega Man 2 remix (for example).
If a resource like this exists, please direct me. If it doesn't exist, someone should get cracking on making it.
