  1. Matt Fraction's new series The Invincible Iron Man. It's only 10 or 11 issues in and it picks up right around the time Secret Invasion starts. Plenty of time to catch up. The first trade should be out this week or next (collects issues 1-5).
  2. Loved it. Some really great cinematography. Missing a couple minor things that were some of my more important moments in the book, but not a big deal. New ending plot device actually works better in the context of the story, IMO.
  3. Holy shit all this name dropping, it's like 6 years ago in here. She came back a couple times after that, too. If you'll remember, I was none too kind to her. Probably didn't help her woeful lack of self-esteem, but eh, I was a cruel bitch then. I like to imagine she probably got knocked up by someone who left her. EDIT- Yeah, GrayLightning was fucking awesome. Always up for a conversation online. Shame he dropped off the face of the Earth. Him and a girlfriend I had in high school are the only people I've ever known in any capacity that have ever done that, to the point where you can't even get in contact with them anymore.
  4. Oh shit, you scored Artoon? The music int hat game was AWESOME. Really made me want to dance. If you keep an eye on X-Play, we're doing a piece on the best Community Games that have come out so far and Artoon is one of them. Don't know exactly when the segment airs, but it's sometime in the near future.
  5. Apologies to the mods in advance if this on the wrong board; I haven't been here in a while. Anyway, the song is from this video, starts at about 30 seconds in. Can't for the life of me figure out what Mega Man game it's from (or if it actually is from a Mega Man game). Any help is appreciated.
  6. There's a Geo Wars clone on the Community Games marketplace called Groov that is fucking amazing. Everyone should go download the demo if they like twin stick shooters.
  7. Hit me up on AIM. I've got quite a collection of that stuff that I can recommend for you.
  8. Just bumping to give a hearty "fuck yeah!" Thanks for telling me about this, by the way, Wu
  9. Or you could buy the GCN version of Mega Man Anniversary Collection for 15-20 bucks and have all 8.
  10. It depends on the skill. Some skills have no slowdown at all. It's shoddy programming.
  11. Just wanted to mention I played this today and it's awesome. The invisible block level is devious but that thrill of adrenaline is there just like the old MM games.
  12. Played this today. Can't wait to dive in. It's got the PS1 anime scenes, and the bottom screen during gameplay is now a map (with a parchment paper effect). The other change is the menu, which is laid out in icons around the border of the touch screen.
  13. Countdown ends on July 7 at midnight.
  14. Game needs a serious script retranslation if they do it (one much like FFT PSP received). The dialogue and text is so full of errors and simple writing that it sucks all the enjoyment out of the game for me.
  15. Dude, you me and like 10,000 other people. Nostalgia is a hell of a drug.
  16. July 7. http://www.square-enix.com/jp/ Scroll down, click on "Coming Soon 2008070700000" Where does it take you? EDIT- http://www.chronocompendium.com/ Ahahahahahahaha. God only knows what this feels like to Zeality.
  17. For what it's worth, they just re-released Einhander on the JP PSN store.
  18. http://www.square-enix.co.jp/ctds/ I think I'm going to go cry. Cry in utter joy.
  19. Then by all means, please go and masturbate to Martha Stewart and stop subjecting the rest of intelligent humanity to your incredibly well-thought-out insights.
  20. It's fairly clear from your post that you have no comprehension of what the comic is about. First of all, the story goes that all the supervillains in the world killed the heroes in the 1980s. Secondly, this is not even a plot point in the movie. Next, Wanted the comic is a sort of satire that pokes fun at the stereotypes of the superhero comic book. The movie? Not so much; action flick. Third, the whole point of the comic was the end: you and me and all the other comic book readers out there are living in a world where supervillains exist, but heroes only live in comic books and our imaginations because that's what the villains want us to think. Next time perhaps you could look a little deeper at what the author is trying to get across with his work. I fear for you if you ever read Watchmen.
  21. Capcom owes nobody anything. They're a corporation out to make money.
  22. Oh yeah. Forgot about that. (Not so) good times.
