  1. Which is why we end up playing every game all the way through - at the least you play for the stalemate. Salaxzar with 13 points?
  2. I give Bahamut sexual favors for mod-edits.
  3. dPaladin plays against Arek the Absolute, under the bypass rule: eppy has left the active list. Okay, no no no, bad, bad Kamoh! Please understand that you just ennumerated 4 awards for the same stat - wins. Which means on any given week, one person wins the first three (*coughchokeJDcoughgag) and then on special weeks, one person wins all four. This is dumb. Award #1: Most wins for the week (with an added bonus if that player went 100% that week, and played all scheduled games). Award #2: Most improved player has the highest differential of wins this week minus wins last week, divided by total games played. Award #3: Dark Horse winner is the lowest ranked player that week to have at least 1 win against a player in the top 5 (3?) (2?) of that week. Award #4: The anti-award is given to the person with the lowest differential (presumably large negative number) using the same stat as Award #2, or Biggest Fall Award. There. Now that I went to all that trouble, Kamoh won't use 'em. Oh, uh, the All-Star idea seems pretty shiny to me, though.
  4. Nemo's online right now. The new rule above is now called "bypassing," and will be a truer assessment of reports. Remember when I just eliminated players if they got reported? It'll be the same way here, but you have a replacement match. EDIT: Rules have been changed to streamline 2-point reporting as a byproduct of severed bypasses. Check the first post for more informations.
  5. I think this one has a lot of promise, a couple of points I'd like to hit before more help comes along: The intro reveals the song too early, IMO. If you just hinted at each part of the main phrase it'd have a greater impact. You can tell the piano is canned in the intro - it needs more reverb, a little bit throughout. Transition into the main (louder) section is spotty, and needs to flow more effectively. Consider a rising drumset beat. Percussion is too basic and could use a lot of creativity, and just more sound throughout the main section. It's a good start, but a long way from an OCRemix right now.
  6. God this could be so great if it was done live on stage...*wink wink nudge nudge* If you have the resources, of course.
  7. Quality's great, the sound is great, but there is a nagging, underlying issue here... I don't think that it's different enough from the original to merit being a true ReMix in the scope of OCR, and needs more original compositional material in order to get it over the edge in this category. I'm not saying it NEEDS it, but that could be grounds to reject, as well as the fact that... ...this is an overmixed track, to be sure. Not necessarily here, but when an entire Dwelling o Duels is devoted to it, you know it's popular. OCR has, for years, been shying away from remixes that are the same song over again, so unless it's something particularly special (which this might be), you might be out of luck. I say submit.
  8. a rule change about reporting... SCHEDULING WHEEL The schedule will always be based on my "giant wheel" plan; a visual representation would be a circle with as many notches as scheduled players, and each player is assigned to a notch. You will play the opponents in the notches next to you in the wheel. BYPASS If you report your opponent, you should play the reported player's other opponent in a provisional match. This match will be verified on Sunday night if the reported player does not return. This match may be used as a halfmatch if agreed to by the two players. Please make sure you have the correct opponent in a provisional fullmatch, and notify me that it is a provisional match when you post the results. COMMISSIONER JOBS Every attempt will be made to ensure that your opponent's other opponent will be another player that you are able to play in a fullmatch, based on the 4-week rules. 2-point reports will be enforced rarely, if ever.
  9. TOURNAMENT RESULTS OCRCL Holiday Tournament 2006 Champion: kamoh Oh, and yes, it's a bad thing.
  10. I've become an expert on the 3-move force-draw rule and use it liberally. Kinda sucks, but I got 6 points for the week (unfortunately a 0-0-6-0 record).
  11. I'm ACTUALLY on the RADIO. Not the intarwebs.
  12. salaxzar and ~Jessica~, you guys should play against eachother instead of waiting for Nemo to show up - I'm pretty sure he doesn't even know he's been scheduled.
  13. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha 134340
  14. Changed color to white, no transparency - this should look okay on the new standard OCR skin.
  15. I vote for myself for the simple fact that, without thinking about it, you all bought into this "vote for me" idea. Plus I went 5-1-2 this tournament. EDIT: Actually 5-1-1 with a match resignation.
  16. I remember reading this 9 years ago. OLD.
  17. two losses to Jessica. Lameness.
  18. Nineko has left, his opponents will now play eachother instead.
  19. lol @ mod-edit. Standings go here.
  20. Welcome to league 2007! Not sure exactly what I'm wanting to do with this here, but keep tuned. Current standings show player record since October. Significant rule changes are as follows: 12/12 clocks. No undo-turn. Scoring for assigned matches reverts to 3-2-1 (optional matches remain 2-1-0). Reports are 2 points before Thursday, 1 point before Saturday (still subjective).
  21. Deadline. Vote for your winner, out of the following: A) John Derrilll kamoh C) ~Jessica~ D) uranus_4444
