  1. Adding effects to your generators is something that's available in the online help. Please check that out before asking such a basic question. That said, I'll answer your question, cause I'm a nice guy and I rock etc. In your Channel Settings window for the generator there's an LCD number up at the top corner marked FX. That's the FX channel the generator is sending to. You can drag that number up and down to change the FX channel. In FL hit F9 to bring up the Effects/Mixer window. This will show you all the FX channels. Select the one that your generator is set to and start adding effects in the dropdown menus. FL has a bunch of them. Experiment. Anyway, like I said, something like this is a very simple question that can easily be figured out on one's own or by reading the manual. We're glad to answer questions, but please make an effort to help yourself with basic priciples. It's like asking how to change the tempo. Ok, thanks. I'll look first next time. EDIT: Quite true.
  2. Ook, I have a couple more questions. First, how do I add effects to my soundfonts and generators, and second, why is it that when I click on one of my channels the window sometimes comes up too small, and won't revert to it's normal size? Thanks.
  3. You need to get a utility called SfPack (it's free and you should be able to find it on Google), then use it to decompress the .sfpack file. You'll then get the SF2 file from that, which you can use normally. Ok, thanks alot.
  4. I just got FL Studio today and, uh.. how do I use .sfpack files? I have the .sf2 files working fine.
  5. UPDATE: This mix was linked to on the front page of 3dRealms Official Website. If I were you, analoq, I would be pretty freakin' proud John Romero, even if he sucks, listened to my mix.
  6. Ah, great. Now Prot, DD, and McVaffe have to duke it out in hand-to-hand combat, to see who becomes my new god. Seriously, this is most definately the best night for remixes ever (with maybe one exception). I'm honoured to be given the privilage to listen to this stuff. I love you all so very much. Congratulations to all involved in launching OCR4.
  7. Typical GrayLighning = Awesome. Great orchestration, great arrangement and dynamics, great instrumentation. Excellent job, guys.
  8. Yes! Commander Keen! I used to play this game all the time! On to the mix. I love it. Another very chill mix for the night of OCR4. That first lead synth is so nostalgic. Awesome job, analoq.
  9. Um... where's the mix? Ah, there it is. Ok, This seems pretty cool. I like the phasing. It's very laid back, good use of sound effects. Ah, here comes the guitar, it sounds perfect. I love it!
  10. Holy fuck I used to love that game.
  11. Ah, excellent. I've heard this on DarkeSword's website, but it's great to see it posted here. Very smooth and relaxing remix. I especially love the drumwork, and the transitions between the two songs.
  12. Wow, this is gorgeous. I haven't heard the original, better check that out.
  13. Ok, I'm listening... ah, very cool... samples aren't great, but the arrangement is so damn cool! We need more honky-tonk mixes! Ok, this definately deserves to be the release mix of ocr4.
  14. HOLY CRAP. I wish this kind of stuff could be in the games. EDIT: Heheh. My mom heard me listening to this, and even she said it was nice.
  15. That's the point. It's stuck in your head, it's done its job.
  16. Absolutely hilarious. In its own league of hilarity (literally). And you know, musically, it's not actually that bad. The chords are fine, the harmonies are right, and I think if this was recorded with better quality, (and lyrics that make, well, sense) then it could be a respectable mix.
